Mira POV:

{Mom...How...How is Shina?}

{She's still unconscious but she is improving. The blunt hit she took from her head was quite severe, good thing Keisuke bought her in time and the operation was a success}

I heaved a heavy sigh of relief when I heard the surgery was a success, 

{That's great to hear}

{...I'm sorry....}

{Mira, what for?}

{For not being able to be with you, dad, Shina and Sou}

{Mira, that's okay. Your Dad and I already know the situation as Shina explained it to us and also please don't stress yourself...it's not good for both you and the little one growing within you.}

{Yes, Mom. I understand}

{Oh? I have to go...I have a patient to attend to.}

{Okay, mom. 'Love you}

{I love you too, honey. Stay safe always, ok?}

{Yes, mom.}

I ended the call with my mom and looked out the window from my quarters at Twilight's HQ. I heard a knock from my door, "Yes? Come in."

The door opened revealing Izumi who looked at me with slight saddened eyes, "What's wrong?" I questioned

"Mira...I...I found where Jun and Rui are..." she said and I stood abruptly as I was sitting at a chair near my window

"Where are they!?"

"Tenjiku has them both..." Izumi said through gritted teeth

I stood up from the couch I was sitting at that was near the window and walked towards the door, "Mira, wait! Where are you going!?"

"To Yokohama." I answered "To retrieve Jun and Rui."

"Mira, you can't!" Izumi exclaimed as she held gently from my arms "Your grandfather is still looking for you out there and we know that if he found out that you are pregnant. Your grandfather will just make your child the heir of the Aiko Family."

She let go of my hand as I fall to my knees while covering my face, trying to not let the tears fall, "Why can't my grandfather just give up?" I said to myself

Aiko Hideko is a very well-known business man and he owns large companies, both his sons refused to inherit his company and so the fight for the heir of the Aiko family fell down to his grandchildren. His eldest son, my father's brother never had children and he and his wife chose to adopt. While Dad have 2 beautiful daughters and a handsome son, which were Shina, Sou and me.

Me being the eldest granddaughter of Aiko Hideko was chosen as the heir, right after I was born. Dad tried to change grandfather's mind but he was already set dead on. That is why I ran away.

Since I ran away, Shina was supposed to be the heir if ever I ran away and so the heavy responsibility of becoming the Aiko family heir fell unto her. But unlike me, she always successfully escaped grandfather and eventually grandfather just gave up on her but not me, why?

Maybe apparently because I look like the female version of grandfather when he was my age. His son's inherited more of his wife's traits than him and Shina and Sou took after like Mom's traits as well. While I inherited grandfather's traits, that's why he refuses to give up on convincing me to become the heir of the Aiko Family.

Izumi POV:

I watched silently as Mira cries softly. I help her get up and then led her to her bed, she eventually cried herself to sleep and I stayed by her side. Even though she's mentally older than me but now, we are the same age. This ain't a book or manga or anime we just watched/read from behind the screen. Its reality and there's no changing that.

The flow of the story is now going off course. And it will be just in a few weeks that Kisaki will try and kill Emma, I will prevent that from happening. We may have Hanma and Kisaki on our side but I have a feeling it will not be Kisaki who's gonna attack Emma....

But it was great reading the manga, I met new people and joined yet another amazing fandom. Sure in some fandoms there are some that are toxic but some are not. 

Even if the Manga has now ended there is still Season 2 of the anime hehe😉
