Five.

“Belle! Wait up!”, someone yelled after me as I tried to walk away from there as fast as I could. “Hey!”, Tom put a hand on my shoulder making me turn around.

I noticed Casey walking in our direction as well, wanting to know if I was alright.

“Is he always like that?”, I asked them as we started walking randomly.

“No. I’ve never seen him like that to be fair and square”, Casey replied, making his way beside me with his hands in his pockets.

“Great. He has a problem with me then”, I rolled my eyes.

This whole situation pissed me off more and more with each passing second.

“Don’t worry about him, Belle”, Tom told me. “We’ll deal with him later and try to find out what’s going on”.

“Thanks”, I smiled at both of them.

They didn’t even know me but they were both being really sweet.

“I think I’m gonna head back to the residence and try to get some sleep. I have class first thing tomorrow morning”, I said.

“Nope”, Tom said.

“Excuse me?”.

You are coming with us”, Tom said.

“Coming? Coming where?”.

“We can’t let you go to bed upset”, Casey agreed with Tom.

“Guys, you’ve done enough for me. Seriously, thanks a lot. But I’m just gonna crash… WHAT THE? WHAT ARE YOU DOING? CASEY! CASEY, PUT ME DOWN THIS INSTANT!”.

But it didn’t matter how loud I screamed, he didn’t do so. He just dragged me over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes. And until we weren’t on their house and he’d placed me on the couch in the middle of their play room, he didn’t once oblige to my yelling.

“Ugh, I really don’t want to be left deaf before I’m 60…”, he said massaging his ear.

“You should’ve let me down sooner… Sorry”, I added laughing.

Somehow, these guys –except James, of course- managed to brighten up my mood with simply their presence.

“Now, you stay here. I’m gonna go get some pop corn. Case, show her the movie stack and make some coffee, will you?”, Tom said disappearing from view.

“He’s kinda the bossy one, isn’t he?”, I asked as Casey gave me a box with DVD’s to choose a movie from.

“He’s the daddy one. Yeah”, Casey went to the bar and started the coffee machine as he lay three cups on the counter. “And I’m the flirty one”, he winked at me. “In case you were wondering”.

“I wasn’t”, I teased him.

“Just pick a movie”, he said rolling his eyes, making me laugh.

“Let’s see”, I said putting the movie box on my lap. “What do we have here? Transformers… Fast And Furious… Planet of The Apes… Titanic?! Why do you guys have Titanic? Oh wait, never mind…”.

“What conclusion did you arrive to?”, he said pouring the brand new coffee into the cups.

“To win chicks, obviously”.

“You think we’re so shallow, don’t you?”, he said coming towards me and giving me my mug.

“Thank you. And yes, you’re college guys”.
