"We'll be back for lunch mom!"
"Take care!", was the yell we heard from the kitchen while we shut the door behind us and starting walking down the road hand in hand.
"So where to first?", I asked excitedly.
"There's a couple places I can show you just before we get to ATM".
"The music centre you used to work at?", I asked curiously.
"That's the one", he smiled proudly at me. "There's a couple people I'd like you to meet there".
"Aw, shoot. More people?! As if I'm not meeting your entire family this weekend...", I rolled my eyes at him annoyed.
He simply chuckled at my words.
"You have it easy... I've got no family to present you to...", I mumbled while he squeezed my hand reassuringly.
"Oh look, this is my primary school...", he suddenly said while we went just around the corner and passed right in front of this huge building. "Mum chose it nearby so we could walk from and to it", he explained, remembering.
"She told me you were quite naughty as a kid... Which you still are. Any principal's office anecdotes that you wish to confess?", I teased him.
"Uhm... I wasn't that bad... I usually got sent to the principal's office for talking too much or singing... There was one time I did put some glue in a kid's pants, but I swear he deserved it", he started laughing at my expression.
"Oh my God, Graham. That poor kid!", I said not being able to contain myself and laughing along with him.
I couldn't help myself. He had such a contagious laugh to be honest. He was a goof.
"He was making fun of someone... He literally deserved it", he finally said. "The rest of the time, during high school mostly, I only got sent in because of my good looks", he winked at me. "I used to be caught kissing girls all the time", he added with a smug smile in my direction.
"Oh my God. I can't believe you just said that... You were probably a chubby little nerd", I pulled my tongue out at him.
"Hey, don't be a meanie", he shoved my side with his hands, tickling me. "No bullying Graham!".
"'Because of my nice looks'", I said mocking his previous tone and laughing out loud.
"And speaking of... That's actually where I had my first kiss", he pointed to a brick graffitied wall in a place where clearly skateboarders use to hang out.
"Did you make the first move?", I asked curious whilst leaning on the brick wall against my back.
He put both hands on either side of me and leaned against me, looking down into my eyes.
"I used to come here every day after school because there was this cool, older girl who skateboarded and I really liked...", he told me. "I even tried to learn how to do it to impress her... Let's say it did not end well", he laughed while I joined him.
"You were probably a little cutie... Hope she noticed that and kissed you because of it", I said taking his chin with my thumb gently.
"Yeah, pretty much a pity kiss", he laughed, shrugging his shoulders.
"Like this?", I said pulling him in, kissing him softly and backing away quite fast, making him crave for more.
"Nah, this was better...", he whispered against my lips. "Do you wanna know why I brought you here?", he kept on whispering.
