Fourteen.
"What was that all about?", Olivia winked an eye at me just after me and James came down from the stage se we could return to work.
"What are you talking about?", I decided to play dumb.
"You getting all cozy with James", Anabel encouraged Olivia's thoughts.
"I think we're both really competitive so we got really excited about winning. That's it. Besides, you two don't have a right to complain. I don't ever tell you guys anything about spending time with Luke and Reece", I pretended to be annoyed.
"You're a mean one, you are", Olivia faked to be sad. "You know how much I like Reece", she whispered in my ear.
"Yeah, you tell me like... Every second of every day", I teased her rolling my eyes.
"See, that's why she likes me better", Anabel pulled her tongue out at Olivia while the other one returned the gesture.
"What are you? Five? You don't fall very far behind, young lady", I pretended to tell her off. "You don't need to say anything for us to notice how deeply your affections for Luke go", I said while we all laughed along together as we each returned to our previous partners.
~
"Belle, this came in the mail for you", Casey extended me a box while we were all having dinner together in the kitchen.
"Some secret admirer?", Barclay cheekily asked.
"What did they send you? All your belongings?", Reece asked opening his eyes widely once he saw how big the box was.
I laughed.
"Figuratively speaking", I responded.
I knew what it was. It was my cello. I'd ordered it online my first day back and it'd finally arrived. Maybe I had a cello back at home, but since my mother wasn't speaking to me there was no way I could find out. My lucky guess was that I probably did.
It was actually kind of funny how I'd learned that I could play the cello. I was sitting down at the hospital waiting for one of the doctors when Courante from Bach's second suite had started playing and in my mind all the exact notes and how to play them came to me as if by art of magic.
Funny thing the mind was. I couldn't remember any details about my past but there were other things that sort of came imprinted in me and I could do without a single effort: like walking, speaking and playing the cello.
"What is it?", Tom asked me bringing me back to the present.
"My cello", I responded looking at the package the same way a mother would look at one of their own children.
Well, not my mother. But you get the point.
"I didn't know you could play the cello", James commentated looking at the box.
"There are a lot of things you don't know about me", I murmured to myself, but they were all so eager for me to open up the box that they didn't even notice.
"That's one hell of a beauty", Barclay whistled once I had the instrument in my hands.
"So you know how to play?", Jake looked at me, curiously.
"No, Jake. She just bought it so she can admire it from the other side of the room", Chris sarcastically replied causing Jake to stick his tongue out at him.
"Go on then. Play something for us", Charlie begged.
"Oh, no. I can't", I said immediately putting the cello down and taking it out of sight.
"Why not?", they all complained.
"I... I haven't played in a long time", I said starting to walk away from the kitchen. "But I'll play for you guys soon enough. I promise", I smiled back one last time before I took the instrument with me back to my room.
~
"Hey, uh. Here are your clothes", James knocked on my door while I was sitting on my bed feeling a little anxious due to my cello arriving today. "I had them washed and all that".
"Oh. You didn't have to do that... Thanks", I responded while looking at the ground. "What?", I asked seeing he was still there.
"Uh, my... My clothes?", he looked around the room seeing if he could find them.
"Oh, right", I said standing up and going to my purse to get them out. "I... I didn't have time to wash them. Sorry. If you come back tomorrow I can have them ready...".
"Nah, Belle. It's alright. You don't have to do that", he said softly, taking his clothes of my hands gently.
"But you did. It only seems fair", I refuted.
He went a slight shade of pink at my observation.
"From past experiences, girls don't like it when you return them their clothes dirty. Trust me, yeah".
"I take it you've been one to have dressed up as a girl many times then?", I laughed as he joined me.
"Goodnight, Belle", he took off my room just before I could reply.
"'Night, James", I said looking at the same spot I'd seen him last until I finally turned around and fell asleep.

Yes! More Jelles feels, ahgsdajdgajsgh. Sorry, I couldn't wait until tomorrow, haha. Besides I'm gonna upload Monday and it was too close to Saturday, so yeah, whatever.
I finished my exams yesterday, yayyy. For now obviously. So now I'm free to write and upload as many times as I want to. Plus, I get to hang out with my friends and watch all my favourite TV series that have missed me this past week, lol.
I wanna dedicate this one to jess_fairbird_jls_sk since she's a new reader and has commentated and voted for the story a lot these past few days! Thanks for joining the Jelles fans, lol.
So what did you guys think about this chapter? :) Do you think Belle should play something on the cello for the guys? Wasn't James a cutie for washing her clothes from the Pep Wheel?
I left you guys Courante by Bach, the song with which Belle discovered she played the cello, in case you were wondering how it sounded like.
Anyways, have a nice weekend! Love you all millions, xoxo, D.
Ps. Don't forget to check the chapter's cover because I really love this one! Plus, in case you didn't notice they're all chapterwise related.
Ps 2. I always forget to say this but Luke in this story is Luke Hemmings guys! Just thought you should know xxx
