chapter 9: Dreams

But when i looked up

It was him

1991

It was finally my break...saved by the break.., we locked eyes and his face formed in shock it was like he saw a ghost. His arms around a woman who i assume is Cortney. God just her name annoys me. I took the customers their food and returned to counting the bill and the money even though it was my break. God everything was perfect untill he came.

Kurt's pov:

Its her.
The way she took those peoples orders..it was such a weird turn on. But her eyes were glued on a boy in front of her. I was sad but i remembered that i had also moved on, look Cortney is great, she is the most precious girl i met. But Jules ..oh julia she's different than the other girls. The other girls just move too fast like 2 months into the relationship and all they want to do is have sex.

The way she talks. The way she looks at me. The way she does things in general makes me fall for her again. I regret not waiting for her. She changed.

She looks taller, her hair looks darker. She wears more makeup, she wears what I think is a cat eye? Im not sure. She looks way skinnier than I've seen her.

But she's just different in general. I still love her but she lost me. Our eyes finally met and it gave me a weird feeling in my stomach like my heart stopped for a second.... She just kept walking it broke my heart knowing she's gone.. maybe forever.

Jules' pov:

Finally my shift is over and kurt gone.. i take off my work clothes and took my purse. when i grabbed the keys, walked out and locked the door someone was waiting for me. Dave.. "hey" he said relieved. Standing up making his way to hug me. "I've missed you so so much dude!" I said crying. "how long has it been...!!?!" " 1 year and 4 months" I answered sounding smart. Leading Dave to giggle a bit. "hey you know since I'm in town for a while.. Do u maybe want to catch up sometime?" my lips forming a big smile.. Maybe the biggest one in 1 whole year. "I would love to Dave.. I'll call you when I'm available? You do have the same number right?" " yeah I do thankfully.. But hey I have to go.. The guys are waiting.. Enjoy the rest of your evening.. And call me alright?" " yeah I will, bye". And I was on my way home.

As I entered the house I made my way to the bedroom dodging everyone and everything, closing my door and crashing on my bed. " what a wonderful day" I sighed and closed my eyes.

The next morning:
Jules' pov

I woke up with tears in my eyes? Guess I had a tough dream last night.. I got ready for work thankfully it was Friday.

When I was finished getting ready I walked over to my 3 year old sister. I decided I would take her with me today just to make sure that she'd be 100% save.

We walked for about 8 minutes and stopped at the Cafe. I made my way to the counter and I got my sister a high chair and placed her in it. The high chair was in my moms- I mean my office because my mother hardly uses it.
I put on my apron and I started to count the amount of money that was collected yesterday.

I was thinking about saving enough money to buy a guitar and to start a band and that would mean I would have enough money to pay the bills and to buy extra stuff for me and my sister

I just might give it a shot..
