Chapter 6

We all went to the last of our classes for the day and then made our way back to the great hall for dinner. We took our seats and Theo noticed the sorting hat and stool up the front, "Do you see the sorting hat too or is it just me?", he asked, "I can see it, we must be having a new student", I say. 

"I hope its a guy and I hope hes cute", Pansy chimed in, "Pansy we don't even know which year he's joining", I said with a laugh, "Well if he's cute I hope he's in our year and in our house", Pansy stated, I just laughed. 

I scanned the room for Enzo because he wasn't at our table, I found him, he was with Hermione, that's so sweet, they looked so happy together, Enzo looked over at me and smiled then back to her, oh my god, he's leaning in, he kissed her, ahh, that's so cute, I'm so happy for him. 

"Guys look at Enzo and Mione", I whisper yelled to my friends, "They're so cute together", I said, "Yeah I agree", Pansy stated, Theo just laughed so I rolled my eyes and turned to the front.

Dumbledore got up from his seat and walked to the front with Professor McGonagall, "Silence", he called out to everyone and the rooms volume dropped rapidly until nothing, you could probably hear a pin drop. 

"As some of you have noticed we have a new student, he will be joining the year 4's", Dumbledore said while looking at me with a smile, I looked back over to Pansy and she was just moving her eyebrows with a *How about that then*, kind of look. 

I rolled my eyes and turned back to the front. "Please welcome Victor Salvatore", the doors opened and I turned my head to see him, my heart dropped. I thought I'd never see him again.

My eyes followed him, walking to the sorting chair, he took a seat and scanned the room as McGonagall placed the hat on his head, "Hmm, familiar, very familiar, better be SLYTHERIN!" the old wrinkly hat beamed out. 

I had completely zoned out watching him, he made his way over to our table and saw me and started walking over to me and my friends. My heart started racing, is this real? I thought before being interrupted by Pansy. 

"Y/n, hellooo, you there?" she questioned bringing me back from my thoughts, "Yeah uh, sorry, he just looks like someone I used to know", I said as I glanced back over to see him still making his way over to us, Theo and I were holding hands and his grip tightened over mine. I looked at him and then back at Pansy as she started to speak, "He is pretty cute, I hope he sits with us", she said excitedly, and in response I just nervously laughed. 

The tall brown hair boy took a seat in the empty spot right next to Pansy straight across from me. "Hi", he said looking at me with a smirk, his voice hasn't changed, "Hi, I'm Pansy Parkinson, its nice to meet you", Pansy stated, "Victor Salvatore", he replied with. Pansy just smiled and looked at me, giving me a *go on talk to him* kind of look, I've always been pretty good at reading people. 

I looked back at Pansy, eyes wide like, *wtf no*, she rolled her eyes and spoke again, "You'll have to excuse my friends, they're weird", she said giving Theo and I another look. "That's Mattheo Riddle but we call him Theo, and that's Y/n Granger", Pansy finished, "Well its nice to meet you both", Victor said putting his hand out to shake ours, Theo put his hand up still holding mine with his other and shook Victor's. "Nice to meet you too", he stated back, and Victor's hand moved in front of me, I took a gulp and pulled my hand up, still holding Theo's with my other and placed my free hand in Victor's.
