Ok so I had a bit of a brainstorm moment with my friend and decided I'm going to add a new character of my own.
- I forgot to mention that Y/n was born a vampire but grows like a normal human but a spell was put on her that will stop her aging when she turns 16, she still heals quickly and burns in the sun but she has a daylight bracelet given to her when she was born.

BACKSTORY
- Victor Salvatore is Damon and Stefan Salvatore's younger brother and Y/n's childhood friend. He was born 24.07.1848 being around 2 years younger than Stefan.
Victor is 16 because he was turned at 16 when his father Giuseppe Salvatore shot him and his brothers after they all had Katherine Pierce's blood in there systems. Y/n didn't know what happened to him because she was taken away and adopted by the Grangers, she never talked about him because it always made her miserable to think about everything that could of happened to him.
Victor and Y/n met in 1989 when Y/n was 8-9 years old, they met at a dinner party that the Branson's and Salvatore's were having together as Y/n's older sister Lexi is friends with Victor's older brother Stefan. (Victor has the animal blood diet as well as Y/n and Stefan).
Y/n and Victor became friends although the age difference and Victor has been searching for Y/n ever since she was taken away from her family. He liked making sure that Y/n was always safe and hasn't been able to find her due to Hogwarts. He found out where she lived after the adoption and went there to find Y/n but didn't find her so he compelled her parents to tell him where she was and then when he found out he rembered Hogwarts from when he was younger because he was a mudblood and got his letter when he turned 11 in 1859 and attended Hogwarts until 1867.
Him still being a wizard remembered how to get to Hogwarts and compelled a train driver to take him there and forget everything afterwards, then he talked to Dumbledore asking to re-join Hogwarts so that he could watch over and protect Y/n. Dumbledore cannot be compelled and let Victor re-join Hogwarts for the sake of his friend and because he agreed to re-learn magic and attend classes and because he's on the animal diet therefore he wont harm any students and promised not to.
I know its a bit of a shitty backstory but it works.
