"when i tell you he could not stop talking about you at the premier!" montero yelled into the phone while juliet just chuckled driving down rodeo with tay money riding in the passenger seat. "he called me the next morning saying how beautiful you were and how everyone was just staring at you the entire night, i swear he said it was like you put a spell on the whole room"
juliet let herself day dream about that night "hehe that's funny" "why" "everyone was staring me the whole night but i couldn't take my eyes off him" juliet rambled out still thinking back to that night. montero gasped "no way you are totally in love with him!" "oh she totally is" tay piped in. juliet was snapped back into reality and realized what she had just said. "i do not. i just really like him. i don't. he just makes me feel different" "so when are you going to let this man take you on a date?"
it had been a few days since jack and juliet had last saw each other and she missed him but she was also mentally exhausted since that night. juliet was the top story of every major news outlet in the country.
"i will go on a date with him when he asks on a proper date, not those little comments he makes" "ok i'll call him right now and let him know!" montero yelped and immediately hung up the phone.
juliet looked over at tay and groaned as she pulled up to the valet in front of the designer store fronts "what have i just gotten myself into?"
tay giggled "girl don't act like you're don't jumping up in down inside" juliet looked over at her and smirked "oh maybe a little bit" "ahh i knew it! you're such a terrible liar!"
the valet staff opened up tay and juliets doors. they both thanked them and juliet dropped off her keys with them. as they walked down the sidewalk they linked arms
"i'm still not used to this super rich famous person shit" tay whisper juliet giggled "you get used to it after a while" juliet threw her phone in her bag because she just wanted to be present with tay right now.
juliet and tay haven't seen each other in a month but it felt like years. they were super close but tay lived in texas so they didn't get to see each other as often as they would like. tay and juliet just clicked with other right away, juliet could be as goofy as she wanted around tay and tay always felt completely accepted by juliet.
juliet and tay spent the next couple hours shopping around at all of the designer stores on rodeo and catching up. the only time she took out her phone was the post a pic on insta. she did notice jack had left her two messages and tried to call her once.

juliet and tay had arrived back at juliets place and were in her living room giggling at all the comments on her most recent insta. "ok girl now it's time to call jack" juliet felt the butterflies in her stomach again "ok ok i will"
juliet sat up on the couch fixed her hair and then facetimed jack. he answered right away.
"hey baby mama" jack said grinning ear to ear. juliet started to blush "hey!" "so i heard you've been thinking about me a lot" jack said with a satisfied smirk on his face. "i could say the same shit about you" "god dam montero i knew i shouldn't ever say shit to him" jack shook his head still smiling. "you look pretty today love"
juliet replied trying to hide her smile "thank you thank you" "but for real tho i've been thinking about you alot since the premier and wanted to properly ask you on a date" juliet smirked glancing at tay in the corner of her eye "well hmm i'd have to think about it. yes of course i will" "we'll get your ass ready, i'm picking you up at 7" "ok see you then" juliet said blowing a kiss at the phone before hanging up.
juliet was so giddy getting ready for her date. tay had left an hour ago to hang out with doja while juliet went on her date so she was alone with her thoughts. her thoughts that mainly just consisted of jack.

authors note sorry everyone if this was a shorted chapter than usual... i wanted to give someone background on tay and develop her relationship w jack and not have to try to fit the date into this chapter too.
