chapter 9: stay?

Hayley's pov

After the pizza and a few rounds of Mario Cart we each ate ice cream and there was a comfortable silence amongst us. Until Dan said something that made me lose my smile.

"It's getting sorta late shouldn't we be leaving Phil?" Dan said yawning.

"No please it's not even that late Dan, plus I'm just about to finish this lap in 2nd place!" Phil said so excited.

Maybe he didn't know Dan and I have been letting him win a few rounds not all of them but some.

"Phil ,Hayley will probably get tired and fall asleep so she has to get some extra sleep to deal with the jet lag."

"Actually I'm used to staying up all night to finish an anime so...I guess you guys could stay for a bit more it's not a nuisance at all." I say with a kind smile spread across my face.

As they continued to play what Dan said was actually true I kept feeling my eyes close and my eyelids were feeling heavy. I felt as if I could easily fall asleep on the couch even if Dan and Phil were there.

-------- Dan's pov -------

"Dan maybe we should just leave her here to sleep we shouldn't risk waking her up just to move her to her bed." Phil whispered bearly audible but just enough for me to hear.

"Phil you can head back to the flat, I'm going to figure out what to do we can't just leave her here with her door not locked you know the type of people we live around and it's not all that safe I'll just watch a bit of tv and if she doesn't wake up with all the noise I'm going to cause then I'll grab her keys then text her it's under her mat and I'll go home alright? If I'm not back in an hour or less then call me." Seeing some doubt in Phil's I give him a reasuring nod as I see him walk out the door.

I think she was cold because her left hand quickly moved to hug her legs as she turned her whole body to face the couch. Weird. Girls. I shrugged my shoulders.

I decided to look for a blanket I looked through several boxes but still didn't find any blankets. Jesus Phil and I really need to take her shopping. Wait what's that? I reach over to something that has my face in it. It's the Dan and Phil calendar!? I see something written into it. Should I do it? No she'll think I'm creepy. Screw it.

I stop at the month we're in and see multiple things written.

Wait I need a blanket for her. But I need to know her birthday so I know. As I look trough the calendar I see a lot more concerts she will go to and all the meets she going to go to meet her youtubers. Surprisingly I found my meet and greet and its on her birthday...guess I'll just have to surprise her then.
