Chapter 17: Trips & Sisters

Hayley's pov:

Reunion. The word I never wanted to hear. For another 10 years that is. Especially for middle school, all the horrible people, all the days they made my life a living hell. I didn't wat to go back for one sole reason, to remember everything I went through. The pain struck me but I tried to play it off.

"Wh-What do you mean?" I absolutely hated middle school.All those years were so bad and those years I was a nobody. Middle school just brought back a lot of horrible memories. Which I did not want to remember.

"Well there was a letter in the mail for you and I opened it becuase I was curious." Of course she would open it.

"And...?"

"It basically said how your old middle school would really want you to make a speech for the reunion that they are having and you would be their special guest." Special guest. Sure.

"But why me?" I still am not sure if I want to do it or not. Seeing all of the people that left me all the people that back stabbed me and all the people that killed parts of me.

"It said that since you were the only student with a GPA higher than a 4.0, and that since you were the only student to win the presidential, committee, and county award two years in a row you were the most outstanding student." Why did I have to take so many extra classes? I mentally slapped myself and let Nikki continue.

"Oh and the fact that your graduation speech made most of the parents cry." I remember that, it was a good day. Even my mom cried and she never cries which is weird because fatalities happen ever so often in our family.

I sighed and ran a hand through my hair. "I'll look for tickets now-" I got cut off by Dan knocking on the door and coming in.

"Tickets for what? A concert?" He kissed my head and sat next to me. I smiled and told him ," No but umm can you give me a few minutes I'm talking with Nikki." He nodded and left the room.

"I'll look for tickets and see what I can do."

"Will this affect you and your attendance at your University?"

"Nope I start uni in 4 months. I just moved to London way before uni so I could have a chance to see what it is really like. Anyway when is this reunion?"

"On the 21st which is two weeks from now. Oh! It's a day after Jessica and Bailey should come back."

"I'll look for tickets on the same flight okay? Hey do you think maybe I can take Dan?"

"BRING HIM HERE. I'LL ASK MOM IF WE CAN USE THE SPARE ROOMS FOR YOU GUYS. Do you think you can ask Phil if he wants to come too?" I laughed at her comment and shook my head even though she couldn't see me.

"Sorry Nikks but he's going with some family during that time." I wanted to surprise her and maybe I will be able to.

"Oh okay. Remember you have to pick up Bailey and Jessica in a few hours okay?" I rolled my eyes and sighed.

"Yes mother."

"I'll text you soon."

"Kay bye Felicia." I hung up and put my phone beside me. I put my head between my legs and ran my hand through my hair multiple times. A knock came at the door again and Dan walked in.
