Hayley's pov:

Maybe it was the nerves that caused me to start folding my speech in different shapes. Or the anxiety of seeing Adam. Definitely both.

"So Phil and I were talking."

"No you were singing."

"Ha. Ha. We talked about creating a new channel." How many channels do they have? Like eight? Another one?

"Is it going to be a cooking channel?" I asked in a curios yet sarcastic voice. I waited for the light to turn green and turned into the right seeing the gates of hell once again.

"Nope. A gaming channel." I didn't see that one coming.

"Now you have an excuse to challenge Phil and beat him."

"That's what I said." He said with a laugh as he fixed his hair for the billionth time tonight.

"I'm the one that's supposed to keep checking my hair not you." I smiled as I turned off the car and gathered myself before stepping out of the car.

A bit of dancing some food say the speech and then leave. Not that hard right?

"Hayley? Ross?" I completely forgot about socializing and stopping every few inches to say hello to someone.

I turned around and immediately recognized the person. Sam Mitchell. The school sweetheart, captain of the football team and soccer team two years consecutively. Oh and also the guy who kept asking me out for every school dance. He was nice not the usual jock who was jerk and got all the girls. He rarely dated and by rarely I mean he only dated once. So you could imagine how much drama sparked when everyone heard he asked out Hayley Ross the quiet girl that sat in the back of the class blasting 'Green Day' through her headphones.

"Hey Sam," I pulled him into a hug and it was then I noticed someone standing behind him ,"who's this?"

"Oh this..." he brought the guy behind into view. Jesus he was pretty. Blue eyes, brown quiff, and a blue tux. Something like Jack Hemmings. "This is my boyfriend Liam." How sweet. I shook Liam's hand as I pulled him into a hug "You got yourself a keeper Liam." I whispered bearly audible.

I pulled away and saw a blush creeping onto Liam's face.

"You guys are so cute together," I felt a hand wrap around my waist ,"Sam this is my boyfriend Dan. Dan this is one of my old friends Sam and his boyfriend Liam." They shook hands and Dan introduced himself.

"Dan." He said with a smile.

"Ohh British, I always knew Americans were out of your league." I blushed whilst I retook my place next to Dan.

"We've got to get going but it's been nice to catch up." He pulled me into a hug and gave a kiss on the cheek. Who knew things would change?

"You never said anything about a Sam."

"Because I blocked all memories of middle school. And for the record I'm glad he's happy with his true self."

We walked inside the auditorium and looked around seeing familiar and faces I didn't recognize. A few waved and other gave me smiles as I passed by with Dan close by. He intertwined our fingers sending a small rush through my body as he held me close and kissed my temple.

"People have been giving us looks."

"Yeah because I brought a giant to the reunion." He sent a glare my way as we walked to get something to drink.
