POWDER..
Jinx's old name traced my well being, why did she want me to call her Powder? Did she want Silco to call her Powder as well? This is so.. extraordinary, though she had this coming.
Was this the first step to try to pull Powder out of Jinx? I can't tell if she was being serious or if she was joking and trying to get a good laugh out of this. It's sad that I can't tell if she's joking or not."Jinx, are you serious? Are you.. one hundred percent sure?" The question pondered my mind like a ship stuck out in the open.
It was silent for a while before Jinx had come up with an answer to my response.
"Actually, why do you just not call me anything at all?""Haha.. what?" Call her nothing? That ma—..
Oh. She's bound to have another panic attack again. When she gives me responses like these, I'm aware of what is going to happen next. And it won't be good.
Before anything else, I grabbed her arm and held her down onto the bar stool. Her breath became more and more panicked, before she swung her arms and forced me to let go. Now this was bad, very very bad.
I couldn't predict what was going to happen next and I usually do.
—
SILCO, Sevika walked into Silco's office to bother him about all the related issues that are surrounding his daughter, Jinx.
"Silco," Sevika began her sentence before pulling a chair up to his desk and sitting down on it. "What do you want?" Silco responded back, his chair leaning more close to the desk as he stared among the world outside the glass window. "You never cared to ask, huh?" Sevika stretched her arm and sighed.
"Silco. I have something I found."
Sevika places a head.. a body part on the table. It bled out.. drenching itself all over the table."Look, please."
Silco turned around and looked at the body part laying on the table. "Why would you bring such a disgusting thing to me?" ...
"As I said before, that is all Jinx's doing. And not to mention, this body part —Is from the council. Everyone she killed was either a leader or an executive member. Can you please at least stand up for yourself for once and tell her that her actions are wrong? If not, you're a horrible father. And I'll tell all about your horrible doings.."
Sevika began to black-mail Silco in a way, though it's not like he didn't deserve it.
—
"Jinx, how about we take a step outside for a moment for you to take a deep fresh breath of air?" I recommended to her. It turned night time, so I had obviously thought it was a good idea.Morning fresh air is always good, but night time air is much better in my opinion. Though it's not like they aren't .. the same. We always did this whenever she had a mental breakdown, or a panic attack of some sorts. I was always there to comfort her since her own father never had the courage to, or either he was busy with 'work.'
I took Jinx to the rooftop of one of the nearby clubs just so she had the feeling of what it felt like to be free, and calm. She needed this, and yet she was so tired.. the look in her eyes and the way her movements delayed after the action had already happened.
Is she alright?—
GO TO HELL ABOUT IT,
"What am I meant to do about this, Sevika? Jinx cut off someone's head like I had asked her to. I don't see the problem."
Sevika sighed and rubbed her own shoulder.
"Fine, I will go to hell about it."
She slammed the door in Silco's face and walked off. You could hear the limp in her step as she walked.—
"I saw another girl with VI and it's been bothering me ever since the day I saw it.."
Jinx told me as she kept her legs dangling off the edge of the building.
"Oh. I heard about that, I saw it with my own eyes as well. Is that still bothering you? Really?"
I wrapped my arms around her shaking body. She nodded as she shoved her head into my chest. It's okay to cry. People cry all the time, and it isn't something to make fun of others for.
Even the strongest ones cry.
I know why Jinx is being so vulnerable.
I told her a while back that she doesn't need to act strong around me. She can act soft and miserable and even vulnerable if she wants to. I'm always here for her and i'll never judge her. Ever."I'm sorry I'm crying to much, (Your Name.) I never meant to cry as much as I am right now. If you can't tell, I'm not doing too well. Silco tells me to knock it off, but I don't think it's something as easy as to knock off then it is to keep inside. Do you get me?"
Jinx forced her attention to me.
"I do, of course I do."She grabbed her gun and pointed it to her head. "My head hurts."
I turned among the city and looked upon the stars. "Jinx, do you want me to call you Powder?" I questioned her. The thought was still bothering me, since I never really got a full response from earlier.
"I don't know at this point, call me whatever suits."She fiddled with the ammo of her gun before shooting a crow, which was probably around 6 feet away.
—
Flash Back."Cmon, Powder! I don't have time for this!" VI called out to her sister before running around their room, trying to find her little sister.
"Hehe.." Powder giggled from under the bed as VI began to know exactly where her little sister was. VI got on all fours and peered under the bed with an old flashlight.
"Aha! I found you! Now it's my turn!"
Powder laughed and got out from under the bunk bed.—
"I can't stop thinking about VI, (Your Name.) It's getting irritating, I know. And I'm sorry. I'm not trying to be drama—"
I grabbed Jinx and pulled her closer to me, before pushing her up against my lips. Her eyes seemed shocked at first before she closed them and wrapped her arms around my neck.
We kissed for a long time.
As we broke the kiss, we panted for a while. A string of spit connecting us together.. I pushed myself up against her lips again.
...
This felt so.. different.
I feel different.
What's wrong with me?Chapter 5, END.
Sorry for this chapter to come out! I was tired and slept in the other day for almost the entire day, lol.————————————❤️——————————
