PUSHING myself off of our bed, Jinx was already sleeping in the bed, though I wasn't surprised.

She laid there for a while, when I was getting ready. I brushed my hair, changed my clothes, and got her up as well.

She usually seemed tired on days like this, since Silco was a bit harsh on her after she showed Silco the blue, glowing, transparent ball.

{Large Time Skip, till the end of the day.}

BEHIND THE BAR-COUNTER, is where Silco assigned you to work today. You scrubbed the bar after people had dirtied it from the 'party.'

The dirt was the kind of dirt that was hard to clean off. The kind of stuff you have to spend around three minutes scrubbing, which was a pain in the ass.

You kept checking the door, looking up and down to see if Jinx had arrived back at The Last Drop, though you were sure she was much busy doing something else.

Such as, blowing up something, or.. killing someone. That wasn't much of something in your league, you didn't like dirtying yourself.

Besides, you just showered about a day ago. Showering each morning is a waste of water when your hair isn't dirty.

[For people who don't have hair : Besides, you just showered about a day ago. Showering each morning is a waste of water when you're already clean.]

A loud bell dung as you saw a very cheerful person enter into the building. Long hair, which seemed to look like snakes hanging from their head, a cropped leather shirt with the gold circles in the top and right left corner, matching the same spot on the bottom left and right.

You immediately knew it was Jinx, since that came easy to you. I mean, people recognize her anywhere.. right?

A light pink glow fell under the darkness in the room, coming from the eyes of the figure.

"Hello, Jinx." You sighed, cleaning your dirty cloth out in the sink since it was beginning to get dirty from all the shit people put on it.

She hopped over to you and twirled herself onto the barstool, putting her arms on the edge of the table, pushing herself in circles.

"Hi!" She giggled, acting very childish. Sometimes it seemed as if it was foolish.

"What did you do today? You left pretty early," I began. "though.. you never wake up when I wake you up."

Her braids followed her lead on the chair, spinning around in circles. "Hm? Oh, I was going to go get more supplies for one of my bombs."

"Why didn't you ask me to do it? It would've saved me the boredom of cleaning the counter tops. Aha.." I laughed a little bit before noticing she was too far gone doing whatever she was doing.

I kept scrubbing the counter before Jinx turned to me and asked me something. I zoned out so her words sounded like mumbles before I actually began to pay attention to her, for the last little bit of what she was saying.

"And I thought it would be amazing." Jinx said, as I wondered what the first half of her sentence was.. I should've listened. Oh well..

"What did you say?" I asked her, wondering.

"Oh, I said, I'm building something for Silco; do you think a large screwdriver might work to use for driving nails into walls?"

"Yeah, I do.. Isn't that common sense, though..?"
