TAKING MYSELF
out of the bar, I noticed that the lights on the sign were a bit off. They were flickering.

That's not a situation for me to deal with right now, and neither is it a situation for me. It's a situation for Silco.

I heard a familiar voice creep up behind me, but I knew exactly who it was when the band slithered up onto my shoulder, covering my eyes so I couldn't see.

"Guess who?!" A raspy voice fell behind the hands. I knew it was Jinx, so I grabbed her hands and took them off of my face.

"Did Silco send you out here to come with me to fetch the cargo?" I had asked her curiously, though she fidgeted with the end of her braid(s).

"No, I just followed you here, is that a problem?"

"No, it's not. Just wondering. I thought you were going to build bombs or something, hm?" Proceeding to walk, she followed behind me.

"My plans changed.." She replied to me, letting her braid(s) go out of her hands and let it sway on the ground, getting the smallest bit of dirt on it/them.

She pushed her braids behind her and kept walking with me, keeping up at a fast pace.

"What cargo did Silco force you to get this time?" Jinx questioned me with a tilt to her head.

"Shimmer." One word response is what I gave her, but she didn't seem to complain.

"Oh, just that? He didn't ask you to pick up oil crayons by chance?"

"No, he didn't.. But I personally can go to the store and get you some once I'm done with the work he has given me."

"Oh, so.. right now?"

"Not right now, in a bit." I told her, eventually getting to the cargo and relieving myself of any stress.

I grabbed the cargo Silco had ordered and dragged it onto a dock, sending it where it needed to go.

Turning around, Jinx wasn't there anymore. I turned around and called her name, but she wasn't there.

Maybe she got bored and went to go do
something in her own time. To be honest?.. I wouldn't blame her.

Jinx usually got bored easily and I was used to it. Anyone who knew her was.

There was always something off about Jinx though, she never really wanted to hang out with people that didn't bring her entertainment.

Like Silco, Jinx rarely hangs out with him now.

Maybe since he's ;3-; , but I'm not sure.

[I coded that for spoilers, figure it out by matching the words on the letter keyboard to your number keyboard.]

Picking my pace, I walked back to the Last Drop and informed Silco that his cargo was ready to be shipped. He nodded and told me to leave now.

Guess I was not a person people liked to be around.

I was fine with that, and I was also used to it since people never really hung out with me anyway; but I'm not the type to complain.

Opening my bedroom door, I changed my shirt and pants into something more comfortable, before going to fill out papers.

I hated working for Silco sometimes, but it's not like I have anywhere better to go.

[Sorry it's so short, I don't have much time to write these as much as I do, lol, I'll make sure next chapter is longer.]
