Your POV :

The hardest part for me is that I can never let Jinx go. She's attached to me like one of her silly monkey bombs, or some other shit.

Her eyes and the way she talks is perfect — this isn't my first time mentioning this. After seeing Jinx break down and fall apart, I realized I might be going down that path — a path I do NOT want to go down.

A path that is dangerous. Something that isn't meant for me.

I sat beside Jinx as she broke down and screamed. I don't blame her. She can't let go of the past and it keeps coming back to her.

FLASHBACK :
Powder : Age / 6
VI : Age / 14
Mylo : Age / 13
Claggor : Age / 14

"Powder! Come on! We can't keep waiting for you ever hour of every day!" Mylo complained with an angry face, as VI sighed and waited for Powder to slowly cross over the fence three stories high.

"I'm trying my best Mylo, stop bugging me!" Powder contracted from Mylo as soon as she hopped onto the patio, still, three stories high.

"Can you two stop fighting for once? We have this issue almost every damn day." Claggor replied to the two.

Powder sighed and then grabbed onto Vi, hugging her with a smile. She loved her sister with all of her heart.

Mylo rolled his eyes as he glanced down at the enforcers. "We have company."

Vi held Powder in her arms as she looked down, but the memory of the flashback was thrown into flames from Jinx's mind.

Jinx looked at me and her tears seemed to never stop flowing. They proceeded, and Jinx couldn't do anything about it.

She lied to herself just to make herself feel better because she knew that she would keep crying.

"What did Sevika tell you?" Jinx asked me, rubbing the tears from her eyes.

"She just told me about the crystal you had." I replied, knowing lying wasn't the best way to calm her down.

"She told you?!" Jinx raised her voice at me with a bit of anger arising from her face.

"Yeah, she did." I responded before Jinx got a bit mad.

I sighed and glanced around the room before back at Jinx, who seemed to already half asleep, but also angry at the same time.

I looked down at the floor, then back at Jinx. She had this glare in her eye that could've made anyone feel butterflies in their stomach but to me, well, I've seen it a thousand times.

Her eyes flickered neon pink and blue, which indicated stress. Stress or hatred, but I doubt such a maniac could.. you know, hate me.

Jinx held her arms open which was a signal for me to hug her, which I did. It was sort of a comfort thing for us, I suppose.

I brushed her hair back and she leaned into the palm of my hand, holding me close by my hand, which was also a sign for comfort.. I guess.

She had a lot of signs and some were things I couldn't predict what they were if I tried.

Jinx.

The name reminds me.

A definition.

"A person who brings bad luck."

That's what it was. Jinx isn't a Jinx. Vi made the name for her, and I know that her and Caitlyn are out there somewhere. I can't let Caitlyn know I'm with Jinx, but I have a feeling she might already know.

I haven't gone home to Piltover in days — maybe a year.. maybe ages. I dont care what Caitlyn does, but all I care about is .. Jinx.
