Johnny | ♡ | The Lot

Johnny heard a faint tapping from his window. It was hard to hear since his parents were arguing again and he has locked himself into his room.

It was night time. He carefully made his way to his bedroom window and looked out. He saw tuffs of (h/c) hair at the bottom.

"Hey Johnny Cakes! Come down here! I wanna show you somethin'!" You whisper yelled. Johnny looked back at this bedroom door before making his way out of the window.

His feet hit the ground and the two of you started running to the lot. "Cmon Johnny! Hurry!" You called. He started to slow down but you grabbed his hand and guided him.

You two made it to the lot and sat down. You made yourselves comfy. You then turned on a small light which illuminated the area.

Johnny gasped in surprise. There was sweets and sodas scattered around. He felt a blanket being draped over his shoulders.

"Surprise!" You laughed. His big black eyes where sided in shock and surprise. He turned to you.

"Why did you do this for me?" He whispered. You smiled and wrapped yourself in the blanket and looked up at him.

"Thought you may need to get away from everything for a bit ya know? Plus this isn't even the real surprise yet." You smiled.

You looked up into the night sky while drinking an opened Pepsi. Johnny was eating a chocolate bar.

"It's pretty chilly today ain't it?" Johnny asked. You nodded. "That's why I brought the blanket Johnny Cakes" you laughed. Johnny blushed in embarrassment.

You turned to him. "Hey the main part of the surprise will start soon!" You looked into his big dark eyes which had a light shine in them.

You pointed to the night sky where there were barely any clouds there to be seen. You grabbed the light and turned it off.

The moon's light illuminated the lot. Johnny snuggled up to your side to stay warm. You giggled and Johnny blushed more.

You two watched the stars until you saw something shoot by. "Hey look! It's starting!" You pointed into the sky.

Johnny's eyes widened even more in admiration. Shooting stars.

The two watched the starts together for as long as they could. They both fell asleep under the stars in the lot cuddling to stay warm.

Dallas and Pony found them the next morning in the lot after looking for Johnny at his house not to see the window open. They decided to go to the lot and there you two were.

Dallas laughed amused. Ponyboy told him that they should leave him be and they did.

Johnny woke up first and saw you snuggled into his side. He smiled.

"Thank you (Name)." He whispered and continued to let you sleep.
