"What happened babe? Are you not feeling well?", Satyavati threw the cover aside and pulled Tasha who just shot up from her pillow close to her chest.
"I can't sleep", Tasha whined in a sleep enriched voice.
"You sound so sleepy love. Want me to massage your back?"
"I'm hungry", Tasha pouted rubbing the sleep off her eyes.
Satyavati's heart melted looking at Tasha's sleepy, dishevelled face. She felt a warmth spreading in her chest as Tasha nudged her nose on her chest and yawned.
"Do you want crackers? Or chocolates maybe? We also have chips, cheesecakes, muffins. You name it", Satyavati ruffled Tasha's hair.
Devjani had noticed Tasha's changing appetite and advised Satyavati to store snacks beforehand. Satyavati gladly listened to her mother and visited the supermarket that morning. She went overboard with snacks and stored more than Tasha might eat during her entire pregnancy though.
"Nah", Tasha shook her head in denial, "I want pork burrito."
"Burrito? Now?", Satyavati looked at the watch on the wall showing 1:50 A.M.
"With extra salsa and chipotle mayo", Tasha whined completely ignoring Satyavati.
"I don't think we have either pork or salsa sauce at home", Satyavati scratched her neck.
"I know that", Tasha smirked and grabbed Satyavati by her shoulders, "But our baby wants burrito."
Satyavati's heart thumped loudly as Tasha said our baby. It had been a week since she heard the good news, still everytime Tasha mentioned the baby she felt a fresh surge of excitement and happiness rush through her veins. She still couldn't believe that she was about to be a parent, a parent to her own child, with the woman she fell so hard for.
"Guess I can't say no to our baby", Satyavati rubbed Tasha's belly gently then brought her face closer to the younger woman stealing a quick peck from those thick lips, "Or to my baby for that matter."
Tasha giggled like a child and asked, "So where are we going?"
"We?", Satyavati jumped off the bed and looked back at Tasha with surprise, "You are not going anywhere. There's a burrito cart by the Cliffend project along the highway. If I remember right it stays open all night. I will get your order from there."
"Come on. you are not leaving me behind", Tasha whined and threw her hands up. The cover slipped from her body revealing her naked, honey coloured, perfectly sculpted frame.
Satyavati quickly averted her eyes from the alluring anatomy of her beloved and started dressing.
"You must be crazy to think that I will take you out at 2 in the morning", Satyavati said slipping on her pants.
