Recurring Nightmare

"Man I'm beat", Arni crashed on the bench beside Tasha.

"Me too", Kiara flopped practically on Arni's lap.

"Me three", grinned Tasha.

"You party pooper", Arni smacked Tasha's head lightly, "You barely got up into anything besides the Tea-Cup. If anything you should be dying of boredom sitting here all alone."

Tasha stuck her tongue out to Arni and Kiara started laughing making Arni more mad.

"Come on. Cut her liver issues some slack Arni", Dahlia butted in, "You wouldn't like it if she started puking her guts out in the roller coaster, would you?"

"But I thought you liked these rides", Kiara asked with a gentle smile.

"I do guys. Trust me. I just can't stand anything shaking my guts since I got detected with the fatty liver", Tasha bit her lip lying.

The friends had been in the amusement park for some hours now. They enjoyed multiple rides as planned but Tasha didn't accompany them in most of the extreme rides like the roller coaster, bumper cars and the pendulum. Basically anything that would shake her body badly.

Arni and Kiara insisted that she at least took the roller coaster with them but Dahlia talked them out of it.

"I'm hungry", whined Arni.

"So am I. It's about two", Dahlia looked at her mobile screen and and back at her friends, "As promised I have booked a table for us in the Highway Deli. Let's get moving then."

They took Dahlia's car to the Highway Deli, a three star restaurant beside the highway, twenty minutes drive from the amusement park. After they reached the Deli and placed their orders Arni and Kiara went to the restroom. It was just Tasha and Dahlia left at the table.

"So", Dahlia turned to Tasha, "Have you decided how to bring it up to them?"

Tasha nervously nodded in denial. Her mind was drawing blanks whenever she thought of talking to Arni and Kiara about her pregnancy and Satyavati.

With Dahlia it was a different story altogether. Tasha's comfort level with Dahlia had always been different. She was the typical mom-friend. She cared about Tasha as if she was her own sibling. She was a big fan of Satyavati and proud to be associated with her. Last but not the least she was overjoyed with the news of Tasha's pregnancy.

Barring everything Dahlia had a natural motherly aura that made anyone feel comfortable around her. Confiding to her Tasha had found what she longed for so badly in her relationships; security.

Even when Dahlia came to know of Satyavati she was considerate. She had a maturity level that Kiara and Arni obviously lacked. Tasha was visibly afraid of breaking the big news to them.
