N/A: Hello guys
I'm sorry for the waiting but here's third chapter. It's a really sad chapter and there's just another one for us to get into 'nowadays'. I had to contextualize Lexi's past and how she felt about her family, Sean and her life before I started follow the tv show's plot.
So... there you go.
Please, please, don't forget to tell me if you like it and don't be afraid to point grammar mistakes. I'm not professional but I'm really looking forward to improove my english.
Lexi had thought about death many times. She always prayed for the dead on Sundays, especially those whose lives were taken by her parents. She claimed for their souls and for her parents salvation.
She had inevitably thought about the day her parentes wouldn't be there anymore. Everytime Tatiana and Alexei walked through the door, carrying suitcase, passport and guns, Lexi knew there was a chance they wouldn't return.
That had never happened. They always came back home.
When Lexi said goodbye to Dmitri that summer, she hadn't thought about death in a long time. She knew that her brother was going to meet their father as both of them had been invited to be part of some very importante mission in Russia. Dmitri, who had recently just turned twenty-one, was more than looking forward to it.
"Take pictures" Lexi asked as she hugged her brother.
"You know I'm not going for a camp, right?" joked the eldest as he remained close to her, holding his little sister body for a little more than usual.
He would miss her like crazy.
"If Mom and Dad could bring me a doll between murders, you can also get me some nice pictures" Lexi firmly said.
"I won't have my cell phone" Dmitri grimaced. 'The instructions are clear: we cannot take electronics".
"How have you been in touch with dad all this time then?"
"Smoke signal" The young men said while laughing, because he wouldn't tell Lexi how he made contact with Alexei.
Dmitri put one last kiss on her forehead as he said 'goodbye' and took his bags. Lexi remained at her brother's bedroom window, watching him get into a black car and be led away. She had no idea that that was the last hug she would give her brother, nor the last time she would hear his voice. She didn't know that 'smoke sign' would be the last thing Dmitri would say to her before rushing out.

Christmas
"Oh, aunt Marian. You shouldn't have spent so much money on me".
"Don't be silly, my dear." Marian hugged her while smiling "You are like a daughter to me and such a good friend to Billy."
Lexi smiled, returning the older woman's affection and feeling suddenly awkward when noticed Jacqueline across the room rolling her eyes.
"Don't worry about Jacqi" Marian muttered. "She's mad at me, not you. Come on, put on the brooch".
Lexi put the brooch on her dress and noticed how the bluish stones went extremely well with her white dress, blond hair and equally blue eyes.
Christmas at the Wallaces were always very nice, but the house that year seemed unnaturally empty. Although people were very enthusiastic and euphoric, since Shannon was pregnant with her first child.
