A/N: Hellooo guys
I hope you guys had a good week.
I've worked on translating two chapters over the past few days, because doesn't make sense to published it separately.
The next chapter has explicit sex scenes, so if you don't want to read it just finish reading this chapter.I hope you like it and have a great weekend!

"There's something I need to do tonight. I might be late for dinner, but you don't have to worry or wait awake for me. I have to speak with Lale, a client who disobeyed explicit orders to not deal until we find my father's killer."
Lexi listened as Sean explained. She thought that in her entire life, she'd never seen Finn explain himself, but she was briefly aware that it was Sean's way of showing her that issues surrounding his parents' relationship wouldn't apply to theirs.
"Who is Cole? I heard you mention that name a few times." Lexi asked.
"Cole is a family old friend. He's coming to help me deal with Lale." Sean vaguely explained.
"Sean..."
"Listen, Alexandra. Maybe today I'll do something that you might get disappointed, hurt, or even angry with me." Sean continued. "I just ask you to trust me, okay? Have faith on me."
"I do, but we had agreed to not have secrets."
"And we don't. I will explain everything to you later."
She was silent, swallowing hard and still with a bad feeling. In any case, she chose to believe her fiancé's words. Lexi ended the call and rubbed her face tiredly.
For the third time Lexi read the email she sent to with her resignation. She remembered how difficult the process had been to fill the vacancy at the Research Center, and now Lexi was definitely accepting that she wasn't going back to California.
Her mother had been responsible for emptying her flat and the breach of contract. She would slowly ship Lexi's things, but essentially everything would have to be regained there.
She clicked the 'send' icon and breathed a sigh of relief. There was a mixture of panic and anxiety now, fear that she hadn't made the right decision. She looked at the ring on her finger, the ring Sean had designed the night he'd just casually suggested the two of them should get married.
A normal life, she thought sarcastically. She would never experience such thing.
A small knock on the door and Marian appeared, she was wearing an off White dress with a sash that marked her waist.
"Alexandra, are you ready?" The woman asked.
Lexi would be Marian's date to a cocktail party hosted by the Wallace company.
"Yes." She replied immediately and grabbed her clutch. "Let's go."

As soon as Sean finished the call with Lexi, his cell phone rang again and Alex's number appeared on the display. However, he would only give explanations to the woman he shared a bed with – he had made a promise to Alexandra with every intention of keeping it.
It was pretty obvious that Sean and Alex had different views on how to handle things. He couldn't afford to tend to his mate and distract himself from what needed to be done.
As they neared the take-off runway, Sean got a better view of Lale's small figure next to the fence that protected the private airport area. She had no idea the Wallace family owned it too.
