Happy new year guys!
I hope you guys had fun on New Year's Eve and are ready for 2022. I'm particularly looking forward to the second season of GOL and PB - we already have trailers for both series, by the way.
This chapter was very difficult to translate. Mostly because I first write in Portuguese and then translate into English, which is quite difficult as they are completely different languages.
I try to use google translator to help me, but it doesn't always have the expected result.

As the car approached the house, Sean noticed Alex Dumani waiting for him.
"You go first. I need to talk to Alex" He told Lexi when she asked if he was coming too.
Lexi hadn't notice Alex was there waiting for Sean. She got out of the car, passed by their friend and greeted him quickly with a kiss on the cheek. Sean walked slowly, keeping a fair distance until Lexi had disappeared into the house.
He stood beside Alex, hands in his pockets and scanning the street.
"They killed Jack" he told his friend, making sure to keep his voice low and trying to not move his lips.
"Fuck"
He could see Elliot's watchful eyes. He just didn't know if he was scanning the street or wanting to hear his conversation with Alex. He didn't know if the man was to be trusted or not.
"Whoever killed Finn is cleaning up" Alex said.
"Is what it seems" Sean agreed "What do we know about the car?"
"It belongs to Patrick Day. He works for Kinney"
Sean remembered Kinney. A cocky gypsy who sometimes worked for them.
"And where is him?"
"He disappeared. The car was abandoned near a shed in the south. We found three bodies on it's truck"
Sean nodded as he listened Alex.
"There are police officers searching all places right now" Alex assured him "We'll find the bastard."
"Always one step ahead, Al," Sean commented with a sideways smile and then his eyes fell on the window.
"What is Asif doing here?" Sean asked.
Alex didn't hesitate to answer.
"Look Sean... I'm a partner too and I made the decision to let Asif sell" Alex said calmly not feeling intimidated by the hard look Sean gave him "We need him, Sean."

As soon as Lexi got to her room, she took off her coat and placed her bag on the table there. She opened it to get her cell phone and took the opportunity to take out the gun Sean had given her.
Sean chose something lightweight, practical and semi-automatic. It was very similar to the pistol Lexi had used to learn how to shot – coincidentally, Sean had been the one who'd taught her how to.
She put it back to her purse and went to the armchair by the window. Lexi sat up as she watched the very calm and peaceful street. Decided to call her mother before she would end up changing her mind.
