SO this is an explenation of kinda what happened in the end of the story if your wondering .
so basically after they found out there were having a baby they decide to go out for diner, and were hit by a car.

Vinnie was fine but Angel was in a coma for months. so what your reading is her telling you her life story, through her memories.
If that makes any sence, and in the end the heart monitor went flat and she died.
so the whole story is her in a coma but her telling you, how she found love, before she died , in the hospital.
If you have watch If I Stay Then its kinda like that, but didnt wake up in the end like she did in the movie.
