"What the hell are you doing?"
"Red?"
"Yeah, it's me, you called me, right?"
"I'm just returning your call."
"About time? After how many hours? What changed your mind?"
"I-er-I'm sorry-,"
"Yeah, you should be sorry! No one ever ignores me!"
"I'm sorry, Red, hindi ko kasi-,"
"Where the hell are you and where are you going?"
"Hmm, magbabakasyon sana ako-,"
"At bakit? Sino ang kasama mo?"
"Ah eh, ako lang-,"
"I don't believe you, sino ang nagyaya sa iyo diyan at sino ang pupuntahan mo?"
"I'm sorry, Red-,"
"Answer my question, damn it!"
A long silence followed and the line went off.
Muling napamura si Red, tinawagan niya pabalik si Bianca.
Agad naman itong sumagot. She took the call but didn't speak, naririnig niya lang ang hinga nito.
"Did you just hung up on me?" mahina pero matabil niyang tanong? He was in verge of panic! This woman just arose emotions in him that he didn't think he was capable of feeling. At iyon ang ikinagagalit niya! It was intoxicating and it scared him big time!
"Hindi ko naman alam ang sasabihin ko sa'yo. You wouldn't accept my apology. Sigaw ka ng sigaw, eh, naririnig naman kita."
Was he yelling? He didn't think so. And how come she can speak this calm habang nagngingitngit siya? "Do you know what you are doing to me, woman? Or what you just did? Tama bang basta mo na lang hindi sagutin ang mga tawag ko? Iniwan kita sa hotel at umaasa akong nandoon ka pa pagbalik ko. I have been communicating and you purposely ignore me!"
She sighed. "I misunderstood, Red. Kaya nga ako nagso-sorry."
Pinagmukha siya nitong tanga at hindi niya matanggap iyon! "Tingin mo gano'n na lang iyon?"
"What do you want me to do?" parang ito pa ang galit? The woman had tantrums at hindi nito iyon itinatago sa kanya!
He hated himself for even wanting her so much! He should have moved on and try the other nine remaining date he had. Pero parang wala na siyang ganang gawin pa iyon. He was exhausted with the first fifteen. And then Bianca happened! Para siyang walang kakuwenta-kuwenta dito sa kabila ng may nangyari na sa kanila! And it was her first time, for freaking sake! Ano ang gusto nitong palabasin?
After he bed her, inaasahan niya na gagawin nito ang ginagawa ng mga babaing nag-enjoy sa ginawa nila. She should burn his line! Dapat ay kinukulit siya nito sa kakatawag, nilalambing man lang! His messages were sweet and full of endearments. But the woman didn't do any of those. Worse, gusto siya nitong takasan! How could that be? And he thought he knew so much about women now. She is just a bunch of contradiction!
