Igor's POV

I start walking out to yn's spot. She always always always gets assigned the look out duty the night of her leave. Presumably because it's easier to leave me behind that way. But not today I haven't seen her much and I missed her. So I head out the gates to find her sitting up against the wall looking out at the open space. She holds one of her swords in her hands twisting it. I sit beside her and she doesn't look at me.

"Having fun?" "Now I am" She smiles which makes me smile. She always makes me smile and she doesn't even have to try. "What are you doing up so late anyway?" "It is your last day, I would like to spend it with you" She looks at me then grabs my hand. She starts drawing patterns on it. "How very thoughtful, My prince" "why is it you call me prince more then my name?" She continues to draw patterns on my hand. "Because just as your name you were born with that title" "What if I don't want that title anymore?"

She picks me up and I sit in her lap. "You can't get rid of that title my prince, just as I can not get rid of mine" I trace the swords figure. "I hear whispers about you, everywhere I go" I glance up at her to see her smiling. "Is that so?" I nod. "Some even say you are more lethal then Ragnar's son's" "now that is a myth" She starts playing with my hair. I look back down at her sword and see my reflection.

"How so? I may not have seen you in action but you're always covered in blood" "That may be so but I still am a person" "you are a god, more specifically god of fear" I hear her chuckle and I look at her skeptically. "Fear you say?" I nod quickly. "Everybody fears you and what you're capable of, they fear that your gods are real and that you have so much power because of how many gods you have" She places her sword back in its place before placing her hands on my hands. "The question is do you fear me Igor?" I shake my head and smile at her. "No I refer you to the sea" "And why the Sea?"

"You're calm and still whenever no one is looking but as someone interferes with your peace you start to bubble up and next thing you know you are striking at people, you are very unpredictable" She gives me one of her most genuine smiles. Not those fake ones she gives Oleg but a true smile of happiness. "And you are very beautiful" I give her a shy smile back. "Your flattery is refreshing my prince" "Have you ... Ever been loved?" I look up and see her smile faltering. "I do not receive love I give it" "Then I shall give you all my love" She twists me around so my back is facing her. I lean against her and I feel her chin leaning on the top of my head.

"I already have your love otherwise you wouldn't be out here with me Igor" "Have you ever been in love?" "No, never" She lays her hands out and I start tracing her hand. "Do you think you could ever fall in love with someone?" We stay quiet for a moment. "How about I make you a deal, if you get a girl or a guy that you fall in love with, I'll find someone I am in love with" "you will? But I don't love anyone like that" I feel her smile grow. "Then we will be on our own for a while" "what if I don't find anyone for years?" "Then I wont find anyone for years" I scrunch my nose and she must of sensed my frustration because she chuckles. "What if your person comes before mine?" "Then he shall wait until you find yours"

I huff in frustration. "You're a pain" I feel her laugh run through her body. "And you are persistent" "you're not afraid of being by yourself physically?" "No I'm not afraid" we stay silent as we look over into the empty open space. Our breathing sync together. "Do you ever get bored? Always going to and from Wessex and Kiev?" Her chin leaves my head and sits on my shoulder. "It's tiring but it certainly isn't boring" "I think you're doing great" "And I think you should head to bed"

I spin around so I'm facing her again. "Why can't I stay with you?" "You know why Igor" I wrap my arms around her neck and hug her. As we pull apart she pecks my forehead. I sit there and my fingers start tracing the scars on her face. She closes her eyes and breathes deeply. I trace over the scars that cover almost every bit of skin. She opens her eyes and looks at me sympathetically before she whispers. "You don't need to do that" "Just in case" I finish tracing the last scar and she smiles slightly at me. "Go on now I'll be back" I'm hesitant. First time since I've met her I'm hesitant to leave because I know if I do she won't be here the next day.

I look down and fiddle with my fingers. She pulls me into a tight hug and a tear escapes my eye. She kisses the top of my head and I hold her hand while still leaning into her embrace. "Please don't be too long this time" she sighs and I pull back looking at her. She wipes the tears that have escaped and gives me a sad smile. I watch as she opens her mouth slightly but doesn't say anything. I keep looking through her eyes and she finally gives me an answer. "I'll be back before you know it" I nod And stand up. I walk over to the gate which is guarded by two guards. I look over to Yn and she gives me a somewhat reassuring smile. That's the final time I got to saw her that night and it made me uneasy.
