Yn's POV
I feel much better since Igor has been by my side. Or in front of me if we're being specific. I can feel my body and I can open my eye lids better. It's been maybe three to four days but it's felt longer. As I'm caught up in my thoughts I fall hard on the ground. I groan before opening my eyes. I wriggle my hands and feel that the rope has been cut. I furrow my eyebrows before I feel strong hands lift me in the air. I open my mouth slightly but once again no noise seems to escape my lips other than the cold breath. I lean into the warm body before passing out once more.
I wake to the sound of tiny footsteps heading in my direction. My eyes slowly open to reveal little Igor sitting himself at the end of the bed. A smile slowly spreads along my face. "Hello Igor" His head whips around to face me. A wide smile spreads from ear to ear. "You're awake!" "Come here" I move to the side of the bed and oat the other. He walks over and slowly places himself next to me being cautious of my wounds. He lays his head on the pillow as we look at each other. "Are you okay?" "Yea I'm okay" I push his hair back. "How long was I out?" "Only a day after Bjorn cut you down"
I smile at him and he looks at me confusedly. "You know what that means?" "What?" "The snow has officially stuck to the ground" He starts shaking his head. "No you will not go back out there until you're better" "But don't you want to have some fun?" He looks down at his hands and shakes his head. "no I don't want to have fun anymore" I put two fingers under his chin and lift it. "You're aloud to have fun Igor-" "Not when this happens" He shakes his head continuously. I place my hand on his cheek to stop him. "You just need a balance, that's all... So"
I slowly sit up and panic sits in Igor's eyes. "So we're going to have fun.. just us and you're going to show me everything you would do in winter" "No you need to rest" He stands up and stands in front of me. "I'm alright Igor please trust me" He sighs and looks at me. "One day, then I want you back in bed, healing" "Fair enough, you better make this day the best you've ever had then"
"Are you sure Yn?" I nod my head and a smile forms on his face once more. He holds his hands out and helps me up. I wobble before I am able to find my balance. He takes my hand and leads me slowly out into the snow. "What shall we do first?" "Snow angels" "very well and how do we do them?" I watch as Igor lays on the ground and moves his legs up and down. He stands up and I look down at the 'Snow Angel' he made in the snow. "It's beautiful Igor" "are you okay to have a go?" I smile at him before flopping on the snow. I hear him chuckle before I start moving my arms and legs up and down.
I stand up and dust off the snow that has stuck to my clothes. "You did good" "Well thank you, now what's next" "I have one thing but you must be careful" I look at him skeptically. He takes my hand and then grabs a bag. We start heading off put of Kattegat. "Where are we going Igor?" "Just a little further I promise" we start heading through the woods before we stop at a frozen lake. "King Oleg taught me how to Ice skate so I'm going to teach you" He takes out two pairs of skates from the bag. "How did you know?" "One night you were sleeping and I stayed up making them it was only when which was the problem"
I take the skates from his hands and examine them. "You did well" He starts putting his on and I put mine on. I look at him skeptically as I try and balance my weight on the think skates. "Don't be afraid" I smile at his comment before taking his hands. He leads me out onto the frozen ice. I wobble and keep my eyes down to concentrate. "Don't look down and just feel it okay?" I worriedly look up and meet his eyes. We start skating backwards. I move my feet at the same time as he does and soon enough we're skating around the small lake. A smile soon forms on my face as I lift my arms up unaware that I am skating on my own.
"You got it!" I open my eyes and see that Igor is far away from me. I panic for a split second and I come crashing to the ground. I hear Igor quickly skating over. "Are you alright?" I sit up and start laughing. The stress drains from his face and he laughs along with me. The laughter soon dies down and I smile at him. "Thank you Igor, for everything" He smiles and helps me off the icy lake. "Come on try again and hopefully by the end of the day you'll be a master at it" I scoff at him. "I doubt that very much but there's no harm in trying" we skate around the icy lake for the rest of the day. And by the end I did manage to do it on my own. But I don't think I would ever do it without him.
