Meredith's POV

The morning after I stayed the night with Addison was euphoric. Like I was on a high I would never come down from. My eyes flutter open and the first thing I see is Addisons luscious red locks.

I catch a glimpse of Addie smiling in her sleep and I can't help but smile myself. I roll over on top of her and just lay there for a minute. I move her hair out of her face which inevitably wakes her up.

She flashes her gorgeous green eyes at me and says,

"Good morning beautiful. How did you sleep baby?" I blush because hearing her call me baby must be one of the cutest things I've ever heard.

"That's the best I've slept in a long while. I could get used to waking up to your beautiful face." I say and then kiss her forehead.

Addie flips me over on the bed and climbs on top of me. The sun is shining down on us through the sheer yellow curtains, and her skin is glowing.

She leans down and kisses me softly. Feeling our lips connect sends a rush of ecstasy through my body. Suddenly we're play-wrestling on the bed, and a full-on tickle fight starts. We just keep laughing until we can't anymore.

"What do you want for breakfast kitten? I'm gonna order room service." Addison asks me.

"French toast for me. And some apple juice please." I say with a smile. Addison hangs up the phone and comes and snuggles up to me on the end of the bed.

"What do you say, after we eat, we jump in the shower and get ready for work." Addison suggests. I stroke her inner thigh and kiss her cheek.

"Why wait to eat when I could have desert now." I taunt her. I climb up on her lap and push her down on the bed. I hover my face over hers and lean down to kiss her.

I pause right as I'm about to reach her lips, and tease her a little bit.

"Meredith-" she whines.

"You're so cute when you pout, you know that?"

She flashes the cutest smile I've ever seen and pulls me in for a long, soft kiss. She runs her hands through my hair and takes a deep breath.

"What's that smell? Like some sort of flower. It smells amazing. Intoxicating almost." Addison asks.

"It's my lavender conditioner." I say softly.

"Maybe once this food gets here you can wash my hair for me?" I ask.

"That sounds amazing Meredith. I can't wait to see you all soapy and wet." Addison grins at me. I grin back as I realize how happy she makes me. I start feeling conflicted because this isn't who I am.

"I'm not the person who's bright and shiny all the time. I'm not the girl who smiles every time she thinks about someone. I'm not the girl who falls in love so quickly." I blurt out in almost one breath.

"Even if I'm not that girl, I'm becoming that girl. I'm willing to be that girl for you. I would do anything for you Addie." I continue.

"When I spoke to Derek that day after he caught us, I meant what I said. Nobody has ever made me feel the way you do. Like you could stop time for me. Like you could lift a vehicle off of me if I needed it. Like you're the one person who could bring me back every time..." I drift off after feeling as if I've completely embarrassed myself.

"Oh Meredith," Addie starts.

"For the first time in a long time I feel like myself. I feel like I can be myself. I've never fallen for someone so fast and I'm not quite sure where to start."
