Paging Addison

Addison's POV

I look up from Meredith's lap and see Mark Sloan standing there, leaned up against the door frame.

"Well isn't this cozy." He says as a statement, rather than a question. I quickly sit up and glare at him.

"Does Derek know about this?" He asks.

"Not that it's any of your business, but yes he does know." I deadpan.

"Wow. I bet he's not taking it well." I look down at my wrist and think about the prior events that happened. I've never been scared of Derek, but now? I don't think I'll ever trust him again.

"No, he didn't. He really didn't." I respond to him. I can feel the tears wanting to come out and I try and calm myself down. Meredith must've known something was wrong because she takes my hand in hers.

I look over at Meredith and smile, nuzzling my head into the crook of her neck. I smell the faint scent of lavender, which brings me back to when I washed her hair.

"Are you alright red?" Mark asks me as he makes his way over to the chair next to Callie. I look at Meredith and gaze into her eyes. It's as if I'm looking into the most beautiful sea.

I'm pulled out of my trance when I get a 911 page. Meredith's pager goes off right after mine, and I smile internally, knowing this means she's coming with me.

"We have a pregnant patient that just came into the pit. We need to get down there now." I say to Meredith.

"We can keep talking later." I say to Callie and Mark.

Meredith and I get up from the forest green couch and rush out of the residents lounge. We walk quickly, making our way to the elevator.

Meredith pushes the elevator button and we stand there, waiting for the silver metallic doors to open.

"Are you okay baby?" Meredith asks me. I look at her and give a weak smile.

"I will be. As long as I'm here with you, I know I will be."

The elevator bell dings and we step into the elevator in unison. As soon as the doors close behind us, I have Meredith pinned against the wall, kissing her passionately.

The elevator makes a noise with every floor we go down. I'm kissing her hungrily, as if this kiss will be our last. I never want this moment to end; my hands wrapped in her hair, our tongues clashing.

Meredith sucks on my bottom lip slowly and then gives it a little nibble. This sends shocks all the way down from my spine to my inner thighs.

The elevator dings, indicating that we've reached our floor. I pull out of the kiss, and we are both trying to let the air fill our lungs.

I reach out and smooth down Merediths hair, and she does the same for me. I fix my short, black pencil skirt and go back into world-class surgeon mode.

The elevator doors open and Meredith and I start rushing towards the emergency room. Richard Webber meets us in the hallway and stops us to briefs us on the case.

"We've got a 26 year old pregnant MVC patient. She's suffering from multiple lacerations and her abdomen is filling with blood. She's 31 weeks along." Richard informs us.

"We need to get her into surgery immediately. Meredith go prep the patient." I order her. Meredith nods and does as I say. I watch her go through the ER door, her hair bouncing with each step and take a deep breath.

Richard must have caught me staring because he asks me if I'm okay.

"Yeah, I'm fine. I'm gonna go change and scrub." I say shortly. I turn around and start heading to the attending's lounge so I can put my scrubs on.

I quickly change and head to the scrub room. When I enter the sterilized room, Meredith is already in there waiting for me.

"Wow Grey, I'm impressed by how quick you prepped the patient." I muse at her with my eyebrow raised.

"What can I say? I guess I was excited to see your brilliant hands at work." She says with a flirtatious smirk. We start scrubbing in, when Meredith asks me something out of the blue.

"Are you glad that you moved out here to Seattle?" I think about her question for a second and respond,

"I wasn't sure what I was getting myself into at first. When I walked through those front doors the day I showed up, you were the first person I saw, and you literally took my breath away." I start.

"I was so focused on getting Derek back, that I missed what was right in front of me. I am glad I moved here, because coming here brought you into my life."

Hey y'all! I know it's been a couple days since I updated but I've been studying like crazy. I think for now I'm gonna just do one persons POV per chapter.
