Lust into Love

Derek storms out and slams the door. Meredith pulls on all of her clothes and chases after him.

"Derek!" She shouts at him.

"What do you want Meredith?"

"I want you to look at me Derek. Talk to me!"

"I don't want to look at you. I can't. How could you do something like this? Of all the people you've slept with, this was the worst choice you made!" Derek screams in her face.

"You can stop right there. You don't get to call me a whore. After all the shit you've put me through. All the shit you've put Addison through! You don't get to judge us! The entire time we were together you've never made me feel the way Addison does. You don't get to call me a whore for how I chose to repair what you broke. You don't get to call me a whore." And with that Meredith swirls on her heels and heads to the nearest on-call room.

Not too long after, Addison comes into the dark room. She sits down next to Meredith on the bed and gazed into her eyes. She brings her hands up to hold Merediths face and just sits there for a minute.

"Did you really mean what you said to Derek?"
"I meant every word. I told you I don't care how complicated things get. I'm in this. I'm all in. If you want me to be all in I will be."

"Meredith I want you too. To be all in I mean. What do you say we go on a date? I take you out somewhere nice, and we eat good food, have great conversation, and maybe at the end of the night I'll be taking all of your clothes off."

"Addison Montgomery I would love to go on a date with you."

"So, I'll pick you up at eight tomorrow night?"

"You will pick me up at eight." Meredith blushes.

"I better get home since I don't work tomorrow. Get all the sleep I can." Meredith leans into Addison and kisses her hard, messing up her hair. She stands up and starts walking towards the door. She turns around and says, "I can't wait to see you tomorrow night."

About 15 minutes later Meredith is pulling into her driveway. It's 12:30 in the morning. As she gets out of the car and starts walking towards the door, she feels like she's changed. She feels happy.

She walks through the door and one of her roommates, Izzy, is there to greet her.

"You sure were out late. What've you been up to?"

"Oh nothing, I've just been stuck doing charts for the past couple of hours."

"Oh really? Something seems different with you. Brighter. Oh what did you do?" Izzy asks curiously.

"Nothing! I swear! I'm just gonna go upstairs and lay down... long day. Goodnight!"
"Goodnight!" Izzy yells up the stairs.

Meredith isn't even halfway up the stairs when she's dialing Cristina's number.
"I need you to come over. Now please." Meredith says when Cristina answers.

"Meredith it's 12:30 in the morning."
"Please Cristina. I need you."
"I'll be right over.

It's not even ten minutes before Cristina shows up in merediths bed.

"So, what's going on?"
"Hold on,"

"Meredith you didn't call me this late for nothing. What's going on?"
"I think I'm falling for someone. "
This peaks Cristinas interest and she looks over at her best friend.
"She's beautiful. When I look into her eyes it's like looking into the deep sea. When she touches me it's like an electric shock runs through my body. She's on my mind when I wake up and she's still on my mind when I go to bed. I think I love her. "
When Meredith looks over she sees that cristinas eyebrows are raised and is curious.

"Well who is she?
"You can't say anything." Meredith mentally prepared herself for what she's about to say and pauses—

"It's Addison Montgomery.
"You're not serious! The woman who came in to your life and shifted your world. Are you sure?
Meredith looks into cristinas eyes and just says,
"I'm sure. I've never been more sure of anything in my life.
"Well okay then.
"We have a date tomorrow
"Are you excited? Are you "prepared?" Cristina says with finger quotation marks.
"Cristina!" Meredith yelps while laughing.
"It's not like it matters anyways cause we've already been there. Or at least I've been there.
Cristina looks so shocked.
"Was it good?" Cristina asks.
"The best thing ever... up until Derek walked in on us cuddling naked.
Cristina starts laughing so hard she snorts.
"It's not funny."
"You're right.... it's hilarious!" Cristina says before she starts laughing again.
"Let's talk about this more tomorrow. You can't be tired for your big date. Goodnight Meredith.
"Goodnight Cristina.
