(Above is an accurate representation of both my mental health and John Cathoway's chaotic appearance in the story, enjoy. Also, the video's not mine, it's a clip from Rambo: First Blood (I think))

General turned around at the sound of an elevator to see a man in a wheelchair rolling himself out of the elevator and into the room.

"I hope these accommodations are a bit more pleasing for you, General, I must apologize for Tank's behavior, he has no impulse control," the man said.

General looked at him, using his tire to bend his fender back into shape. "Thanks for the hospitality."

"You are comfortable, no?"

"As comfortable as I can get bein' all beaten to hell."

The man smiled warmly and turned to circle General. "You know, we're not so different, you and I."

"Why? 'Cause we both have wheels?"

The man laughed. "You, I like you, you're funny."

"Why're you down here?"

"I was simply making my rounds, thought I'd check up on you. Could I offer you some refreshments? Any particular petroleum product you might want?"

"No, thank you, I'm fine."

The man shrugged. "That's quite alright."

The elevator dinged again and a young woman walked out, wearing a business suit, her hair tied up in a bun with big glasses.

"Ah yes, this is my daughter, Cindy, she'll be the one looking after you during your stay here," the man explained.

Cindy smiled and nodded. "You must be the General, it's a pleasure to finally meet you."

"Wish I could say the same for you," General rumbled.

Cindy frowned, exchanging a glance with her father. "You're sure this is a good idea?"

"Of course, darling, it's the only way," the man replied.

Cindy nodded and took a step towards General.

General started his engine, revving it and backing away from her. "Hell no, you stay on your side of the room!"

The man patted Cindy's arm as he wheeled past on his way back to the elevator. "I'll let you two get acquainted."

That said, he departed from the room, leaving Cindy and General alone together.

Bo lifted his head sorely, pushing himself up with a groan. The sound of seagulls squawking overhead sounded louder than it should have. Luke's voice floated in and out.

Luke pulled him up, grabbing his shoulder and shaking him slightly. "Bo? You alright, can you hear me?"

Bo nodded, bringing a hand up to his throbbing forehead. "What... happened?"

"You must've hit your head on a rock or somethin'; you got a concussion," Luke explained.

Luke pulled him up onto his feet, Bo's vision starting to clear a little bit. He staggered slightly but Luke held him steady.

"You gonna be alright?" he asked.

"Ye-yeah, I think so," Bo replied, his voice trailing off.

Luke nodded and patted him on the cheek. "Good."

He turned and started walking towards the other side of the beach.

Bo looked up at the sky, watching the gulls circle under the gray clouds above. They'd lost a lot of daylight, and it was starting to get dark. Blood clouded the vision of his left eye. Ocean waves rushed against the rocky beach, leaving a thin line of seafoam in their wake, like a soap ring along the edge of the beach. Leaves of seaweed and pieces of driftwood littered the little beach. Along the edge of the rocks which enclosed the beach, Rosco sat on a rotten log and KITT not too far away. Rosco held his hands over his right knee, blood dripping through his fingers.
