(K, damn, sorry for the wait, uh, here's part two of Knightmares, though I probably lost a lot of readers during that ten-days-shy-of-one-month period, enjoy to those of you who are still interested and again, sorry for the delay, I may or may not have forgotten Wattpad existed...)

It was around twenty after nine when the Dukes got a knock on their door. By that time, it was just Luke sitting at the kitchen table, patiently awaiting the arrival of his cousin and basking in the glory of knowing Uncle Jesse was bound to tan Bo's hide for running off without stopping by first at the least. Luke grinned inwardly as he went to go answer the door, listening to the light shower of rain falling outside, tempted to let his cousin stand in the cold and wet for just a moment longer.

As Luke opened the door, however, his stomach did a somersault as he watched the dripping-wet figure that was most definitely not his cousin stumble inside. Soaking wet from the rain outside, Autumn Burningwood peeled her jacket off, hanging it on the set of hooks by the door and wringing out her long, black hair.

"Autumn? What the hell are you doin' here, I thought you and Gravedigger were out in Texas!" Luke exclaimed, trying to hide his anxiousness.

"Yeah, I know," Autumn replied rather casually as she flipped her wet hair over her shoulder. "I came back."

"Well I can see that, but why did ya come back?"

Autumn scoffed, "What? You can't stand a surprise visit from your favorite person?"

"In all fairness it's night, and you come stumblin' in here from the rain like a scalded hound, so, let's hear it."

"Alright, alright, I'll give it to you straight. You jackasses messed up in Savannah. Y'all really thought Cindy was gonna take her dad out for some drinks? Hell no, she killed the poor bastard, made it look like a muggin'. She's a victim, like always, and now that Acid's gone, she ain't got nothin' to lose. And, as you could imagine, she's pretty sore about it."

"Alright, so what do you suggest I do about it?"

"Well, I recommend getting her either six feet deep or behind bars like yesterday, or else y'all are gonna have a whole new thing on your hands."

"I don't suppose you'd be willin' to help?"

"What in blazes you think I'm here for, boy? Look, my dad showed me some tips and tricks for fur trappin' he learned from his granddaddy. From where I stand, if we take the proportions, multiply them by, oh, say, twenty, we could physically restrain Cindy, for a spell at least."

"Which, no offense, probably ain't gonna work. If we're gonna bring her down, we gotta do it legal-like, which, come to think of it, gives me an idea."

"You care to share, or..."

Luke shook his head. "I'd rather wait 'til mornin' when we can get everyone on board. You got a place to stay the night?"

"Gravedigger's got my camper, but I reckon that'd be a might cold," Autumn explained with a sheepish smile.

Luke exhaled sharply, a faint smile playing on his lips. "Alright, tell you what, you can borrow Bo's bed for the night since he ain't home."

"What? You guys just got back, where is he?"

Luke cringed. "You... don't really wanna know the answer to that, do you?"

Autumn raised her eyebrows and smiled. "Ooh, sneaky-link?"

Luke nodded and gave an exasperated, "Sure."

"Well, in that case, I might as well get comfortable, don't think he'll be back until early mornin'!"
