Eyes twitched as Ralph began to wake. A moan passed through his lips while he lifted up his heavy head.

The room that once had laughing kids with food was now vacant and dark. A small light illuminated in another corner of the room. Soft lapping could be heard outside the ship.

He rubbed his reddened face that was stained from salty tears. Ralph figured he must had fallen asleep when he was crying about his old friends.

A small pain surged through his heart at the fact no one woke him up nor noticed he was crying. Was he now a nobody off the island. Guess that's better then being a target.

He shakily stood up, a popping sound came from his back from sitting for hours. His gaze turned to the door that lead to downstairs.

The blonde teen blankly stared at the door for a couple seconds before walking towards it.

Turning the doorknob carefully not to wake other, he opened the door and tiptoed down the stairs.

Small creaks were made but not loud enough to wake anyone.

Once down, Ralph saw everyone was fast asleep in there cozy sleeping bags.  Anyone outside of this ship would have thought innocent, pure kids were happily asleep, only if they knew the horror behind some of them.

Ralph's eyes went to the last sleeping bag at the end which so happened to be next to Jack.

Disappointment washed over his face. He did this on purpose didn't he.

Ralph grabbed the sleeping bag, scooting it as far away as he could from the ginger, which wasn't very far due to the wall.

He slithered into his bag with laziness. Once in, he exhaled and turned his head to the right. Jack was fast asleep with his lips slightly apart.

His face looks so peaceful, soft and gentle. It was almost like it was a totally different person. Why couldn't he have looked like that on the island...

Small droplets formed in his eyes, emotions swirled all over the past. Ralph chewed on his lip to stop the tears to no use.

Tears flowed from his eyes with a hiccup following. To his luck, the hiccup was loud enough to wake the ginger next to him.

Jack grumbled loudly as his hand rubbed his face. The gentle expression was ruined by scrunched eyebrows. "What the bloody hell.."

His blue eyes met with Ralph's green glossy eyes. The blonde teen wiped his tears swiftly then turning in his bag, covering his head as more muffled hiccups.

Remorse pooled in Jack's stomach seeing it was Ralph who had woke him up. He never meant to make Ralph cry more.

A sigh passed through his dry lips as he stared at the back of Ralph. He reached out to touch him, comfort him in some way but, reluctantly pulled it back.

Jack guess it's best not to make it worse for the poor boy. He closed his eyes and listened to the pitiful sounds from the boy he could once called a friend.
