Hey guys! I'm starting a very new story, it's a love story, much different than my bad boy love, I hope you enjoy it! This is just the intro but if you do love it, I would love to continue it. Let me know xoxo.

Love is a beautiful feeling for those who are lucky enough to feel it in this lifetime, I thought I did too before my met THE one. Before I did, I always thought this person everyone referred to as the one was utter bullshit who was nice to look at in a 2 hour movie. I always wanted to be the hopeless romantic type but not seeing that amongst my parents when growing up, it was sort of hard to envision something I never knew anything about. My mother had told me the same thing, her hope in a loving marriage was long gone, so I was stuck there thinking... I mean how can you have the charisma, the chemistry and the compassion all in one person, is it possible?

But for those who are still bearing the hope for love, let me affirm your belief that it is possible...let me take you back to the day I laid eyes on my person. It was back in high school, you know that era every teen is figuring out their shit and stance in the real world, I must say I had my fair share of minor crushes as a young girl but I was so lost in my books that I didn't see him coming, even though his tall figure was so hard to miss. He was in my grade but for some reason I had never noticed him until this Friday afternoon after lunch in November when  I was hurrying myself to get to class, I saw him, big wide grin (god his smile was so perfect, the goofy type with the exact amount of innocence and quirkiness) lanky figure, walking directly past me with that confidence that he carried on his shoulders. In the rushed moment, I couldn't help but quickly turn my head back to catch one more glimpse before he was gone.

There was my person, but I didn't know that, he didn't know me, I didn't know him, believe me when I say for us to be together was a dream especially after every time I would see him pass me by, talking to everyone as he was the social butterfly. I wanted him to talk to me oh so badly, even if it meant for two seconds, just to acknowledge my presence. To me I felt like I was an average short girl who was so busy in school, extremely shy that it was an honour when he did acknowledge me the day I mistakenly bumped into him when we were in the cafeteria line. Trust me, it was mistakenly! Fine, you caught me, it wasn't, but shh he doesn't know that to this day.

I saw his big figure turn and that was the first day we locked eyes, the first conversation we've ever had, "yes, can I help?" he said with a smirked grin as if he was flirting with me with his eyes. I shook my head sheepishly, if you saw me then, you would've urged to say 'girl speak up, this is your moment!' But for me, it was a moment I held onto until the next moment, and then till the many moments after.

How did you get to those moments with Damian? Before I dive into that,  I just noticed I forgot to introduce myself, I'm Skai Kaiser, yes my first name can be found in my last name, my parents thought it was clever to do so. So for the sake of all of us, let's believe it is clever. I'm a simple girl who currently works in an amazing book company here in New York who had released some banger fiction storylines and so this time I felt it was important to share my own story, a raw story of true love that felt like the exact shit that movies depict.

Now....let's get to the part you've been waiting for. Damian- he was the it guy, he was a lone wolf, but he was also the loud, funny guy who could make a whole room laugh so easily, the kind of guy I aspired to have in my life, to me humour meant alot, and this guy just kept sweeping me off my feet with every class I had with him. But it seemed like he took quite some interest in me without us saying a word because after a long afternoon of religion class, he approached me, now don't get too excited, it wasn't to ask me out on a date or anything.

It was for...**drumroll** help for homework, but you know what, I've been so jealous of anyone getting the chance to talk to him that I was ready to play the classic movie plot where the nerdy girl helps the popular boy with his project. Because this was the start to something new, to something exciting.

A/N: Soooo...what do you think? It's certainly a bit different in writing than my previous book, but, it's something I'm looking forward to as my experiences have helped to change my writing and ideas for books. Let me know if you enjoy it!
