"Come on, Draco" I pull him towards the courtyard.
The autumn leaves look beautifully yellow today ,and so I am especially fond of being surrounded by them.
But before we're even able to reach our usual spot under the small three, we see two chuckling girls coming up to us. Coming up to him.
"Hey, Draco" One girl says and the other one keeps chuckling nervously.
I look at Draco. He seems as confused as me. Draco still manages to lightly smile.
"My friend wanted to ask you something" One of the girl says, hinting at her now reddening friend.
"Yes?" He says.
The girl pushes her friend forward.
I smile."I-uh I-I just wanted to tell you that I, um..." She looks at her friend. Her friend nods encouragingly.
"I like you and thought that maybe we could go out sometime?" She smiles sweetly and my heart warms at the sight. Please don't let Draco say something mean.
Draco turns to me. I look expectantly at him. He turns back around.
"Thank you for liking me, I guess. But I'm sorry, I don't think I can do this" He says.
I frown at the rejection but slightly praise him for this kind of respectful one. He is usually ignoring every girl that is trying to talk to him. Treating them like they are air. Now he isn't.
"Oh" The girl looks at her friend "Okay" She says and before either of us get to say another thing, she takes her friends arm and leads her away.
Draco without a word starts walking up to our spot. I follow behind him as we sit down in silence. So the next couple of minutes pass with neither of us talking.
I sigh "Draco?" He finally looks at me again. "Why won't you give anyone a chance? I mean, nothing is holding you back?" I ask in genuine concern as he sags his shoulders against the tree.
"It's nothing" He says with such a lack of any emotion, I begin frowning even more.
"Draco, seriously-" "It's nothing, okay?" He gets distant.
I sag against the tree as well.
A moment later, Draco speaks up again.
"I'm sorry, Evie. I really don't mean to be like that. I just don't understand how that could possibly be so important to you""I don't know" I say "I guess I just want you to find your happy person"
He begins smiling cheekily.
"My happy person?""Y-Yeah, you know, the person you can trust the most. The one that makes you feel home and makes you truly happy" Draco starts smiling even wider
"My happy person" He mumbles quietly
"Well, then you are my happy person" He looks up at me and I shake my head laughingly."Am I not your happy person?" He asks and I reach out to stroke his hair.
"Yes Draco, you are my happy person" I say
✧・゚: *✧・゚:*
Dracos head is currently laying in my lap and my fingers between his hair.
"Hey, Evie" Draco says "Hey, Draco"
He looks up at me "Do you remember that one guy that kept stalking you. What was his name again? James? Jake?""Jacob" I grin "God yes, I remember that lunatic" I say and he huffs "Following you around like a weirdo until I had to show him where he belonged"
I start recalling the memories "I still cannot believe he switched schools because of you" I continue running my fingers trough his hair.
"What should I say? I'm very convincing" He smirks.
I immediately lean down to his level and cover his mouth with my hand "Wipe that smirk off, you bitch" Both of us chuckle.
I pull my hand back and suddenly our faces are only inches away. My smile fades, and so does his, as I stay towering over of him. My gaze wanders down to his lips and I don't even seem to get why...I notice his eyes doing the same and suddenly both of us start leaning in. I bent lower and lower. Lower and lower.
"Hey Draco!" We hear a voice call and immediately shoot away from one another...
