Max had arrived which was the reason that John's survivor skill couldn't activate. The Hero was not alone his entire group was with him Max smirks and says "It's over we will be taking the prisoner back thank you very much oh and you will all be killed for trying to break him out of the custody of the King" That's when the strongest demon tried to buy time for the others to escape with John. However they were outmatched by the Hero's group. Suddenly another presence was detected an adventurer who had once fought Max and his group this adventurer was paid two hundred billion gold coins up front and would be paid the other half after completing the assignment. It was obvious who had paid for the adventurer's services. This Adventurer fought Max and his group buying the Demons time to escape with John. However they didn't last long against the Hero and his group who had all greatly improved since their last encounter. However they were attacked by a hired Mercenary who had been paid double that of the Adventurer that was because of the obvious gap between the two individuals and that it was double what the Adventurer would have been paid upon completion upfront and would be paid the rest after completion that was again paid for by Jade the equipment of the Mercenary was also paid for by Jade and it was half of the total price of what she was supposed to pay the Mercenary the equipment was free but to be used to stop the Hero and his group naturally the equipment of the Escorts was a billion times more expensive and advanced.
