So they exploited it with summons Soul summons magic summons countless summons that attacked as groups while the monsters tore through John. They used drown magic suffocation magic Nightmare magic melt magic but eventually they were all exhausted and needed time to rest. Max did not need to rest because he waited to join the battle. Max waited until the others were exhausted so that he could go on the attack buying them time to recover while giving John no time to rest. Max attacked John head on. Max kept going relentlessly soon his group recovered halfway but he kept going when he was exhausted the others were back to full energy and jumped in so Max could restore his energy. They used time manipulation Time spells on John these were extremely exhausting but they were at 100% and their items helped them so that they could each use 10 of each time based spell and curse debuffs since there were a hundred of them they together unleashed half a million time based attacks. After the next round it was a million they than continued to break John. Eventually they were nearly finished they had broken John's emotions with Lucy and Max making out in front of him and forcing him to watch that was the last thing left to break before his reputation as an unbreakable unstoppable monster. Max broke that too and was with the rest of his group. Lucy says. "It's finally over finally finished and now it's time to kill him" Max says "Not yet we still have to break his pride in his barriers and armor protection"
