"So..." way to start a conversation Aurelia.

"So..." he wasn't good at this either so that was good. Easton shoved his hands into his pockets.

"Dinner was..."

"Interesting?"

"You could say that, yeah." Aurelia laughed slightly and gasped.

"Look I know you think I'm a jerk-"

"Big time."

"Yeah but..." Easton looked out of the window. His eyes looked far away.

"But?" Aurelia prodded.

"Zara..."

"You like her. I know."

"It's not like that."

"Easton I'm not stupid. I may never have been in a relationship but I know that when two people hold hands or kiss it means something because you don't just do that." Aurelia stared intensely at Easton.

"You've never been in a relationship?" Aurelia said all of that and the thing he decided to focus on was that. She didn't have a very good patience level.

"I didn't have time. I've faced too many disappointments already. Why should I face another? There's no point. Boyfriends are a distraction that I cannot afford." She made sure not to let any emotion show.

Easton opened his mouth and then shut it.

"Cat got your tongue?" Aurelia raised her eyebrow.

He smiled.

"Yes." He admitted. "You're the first girl to leave me like that. I usually leave the girls tongue tied."

"You think highly of yourself." Aurelia noted.

"I'm told that." Easton smirked. Aurelia scoffed.

"Sooooooo.....why don't your parents know about Zara?"

Aurelia really wanted to know. As far as she knew about the drama she knew that Easton and Zara have been in a relationship since the Big Bang. Or something.

"I just-"

Mrs Angel poked her head in the room.

"Honey Aurelia. Some guy at the door said he wants to speak to you?" Polly questioned, raising an eyebrow.

"B-b-but I-I-I don't-" Aurelia stammered. She didn't really know anyone. She had no relations with anybody in this world except the Angel family. And that was unavoidable.

"He's pretty cute though." Polly winked and held the door wide open for Aurelia to follow her. Aurelia blushed head to toe. She didn't need Easton Angel's mother telling her which guy is cute and which isn't.

She walked to the door and when she saw who stood in front of her, her jaw dropped to her leather boots.
