A/N: Just FYI I'm not going to actually have chapters because it's going to be like one huge story so... wait actually I don't know how to explain it so just go with the flow. Sorry!

Thunder rumbled. Lightning flashed. Rain poured. Aurelia sat on the ledge of a window in a small shelter. Lately everything in her life happened so fast that the adrenaline of it all was making it hard for her to keep up. She still didn't understand how it was possible for someone to lose so much in such a short amount of time but she had. Her father had run away when she was five so she didn't care much about that. Her mother had just passed away because of some heart condition two months ago and while she did try and live 'happily' with her elder brother, he had gone and gotten himself killed on a motorbike. And so, with her brother went all the little things she had, for example, an apartment. And now, she was practically homeless. Aurelia sighed. There was going to be a huge beauty pageant in her town, but she wasn't sure if she was pretty enough to win. It's not like she cared about not being pretty but the winner would get a huge amount of money and she could really use some luck like that. Aurelia had light brown hair that she always tied in a French braid with a few wisps of hair coming on her face. Her eyes were a light brown tilted slightly towards a grey kind of color with long eyelashes protecting them. Her cheeks were rosy nowadays because of all the running around town she did, but her clothes were tattered. She wore a white cotton dress which was sleeveless and had no design on it. Along with the dress, she wore long, black leather boots. Probably the only appealing part of her.

Aurelia looked out, wishing the rain wouldn't stop because if it did, she would be kicked out of the shelter, and she would have to spend the rest of her night finding some playground where she could actually rest on the slide. A sudden gust of wind blew her hair sideways, and the lightning illuminated her in a way that would have been scary to any normal human. Suddenly, the tall wooden door opened, creaking as though the door wanted the whole world to know that Aurelia Blossom sat in Wanchester High's only thunderstorm shelter.

Short one I know! I'm sorry I'll try make it longer next time!
