In a last ditch effort at revenge as he died AFO forced all of his quirks onto Deku while simultaneously sending him to another world. When he arrived Izuku decided that he would rather not fight anymore, and decided to just settle down and open a candy shop. He would later meet and start dating Koneko Toujo, who would inform him of the supernatural world. Izuku decided that he wanted nothing to do with the supernatural, and opted instead to hide himself from it and avoid interacting with it outside of his relationship with Koneko. However, when Rias found out about Izuku's existence all of his efforts to just live out a normal life started to fall apart. He battles alongside and against devils, fallen angels, angels, and gods, and through it all, he continues to insist that he's just a regular candy shop owner.
