The eighth year had come to an end for them, and they were glad because of it. New beginnings were going to happen. Harry and Draco had addressed the school in the great hall, telling of their animosity, their rivalry, their friendship and eventually their love for each other. A story that would be worth telling over and over again, and were at a complete and utter loss when everyone in the hall stood up and clapped for them.
The more intricate details of Harry's journey was only told to their close friends and staff. Some of them not believing what he had been through, and some of them wanting to hex the muggles who had abused him. Harry put a stop to those thoughts immediately, claiming it was over and done with. He would not think on it again. He had an amazing future ahead of him, they should all think about theirs.
The feast at the end of the year was brilliant. There was enough food to feed the whole of London, and Ron was in heaven. Harry and Draco had purchased a home in the country, and would furnish it together. They weren't stupid. They knew that outside of Hogwarts, they were going to be met with scrutiny and perhaps hate, but their love was strong enough to withstand that. They both knew this. Harry would no longer become an Auror, he wanted to open his own bakery. And Draco wanted to be a healer, his potions becoming the next best thing since Wolfsbane.
Draco was told of his visit to his mother, and how she had given them her blessing, causing Draco to burst into tears when Harry had told him. "Gods I love you Harry", he would rush out. Then when his lover told him that he had also gone to Azkaban to see his father, Draco was at a loss for words. When Harry told him that he had also welcomed their relationship, Draco fell into his arms, sobbing.
Being with Harry Potter had made him come alive. It had strengthened the bond with his parents, and while he was still of two minds about his father, he was thankful. Harry had asked for his sentence to be reduced and it was. By twelve years, which meant that his father would be home just in time for their wedding. Which is how Harry and Draco wanted it.
Their friends had also gone their own ways, making a point to visit the two men at least once a week. Their kind of friendship would never be thrown away, and they were glad. They were needed and felt wanted, and for the first time in his life, Harry was content. Content and happy.
They would fuck non stop, because being in the same room as Draco, drove Harry crazy. Sometimes more than once a day, he was insatiable. And Draco was irresistible. They would make love on some days, being soft and tender with one another, and that was okay too. Draco was demanding lover, and Harry loved every bit of it. Eating him out made him sane, and it made Draco crave him even more.
He had gifted Draco the ring of Sienna, saying that he was his guard whenever Harry couldn't be there, and Draco had accepted it. Hating the fact that he couldn't speak the snake language, but thankful just the same.
It was the end of his journey.
And the start of a new one.
But this one, he wouldn't be taking alone. He would have Draco by his side always.
THE END
