Scott, if.... .... he is in a rage

It was hard to keep up with what Scott was trying to say, or rather what Pym's choice was getting at. For a good ten minutes he's been talking about what happened to him, but you didn't understand much.
"Scott," you say for the umpteenth time, to no avail, "Scott. Take a breath. A sentence is made up of periods and commas, not just commas. Take a break."
"I'm breathing. See. I was breathing," Scott merely said, trying to explain what he had seen at a pace where you thought at any moment the Ant-Man would choke on his tongue because he just wouldn't order his thoughts first, "We were there. Then this creature came. Walked through the wall. Even though there were doors. Otherwise we wouldn't have gotten in. It stood in front of us. And then it was gone again. Like a ghost."
We're making progress, you thought, because you finally knew what it was all about.
