Ikari's p.o.v.
The day finally came, Sasori and Deidara returned from intel gathering on the One Tail Jinchuriki. Deidara of course came over trying to sweet talk me and exaggerate the danger of the mission. "There we 50 Jonin attacking us all at once! I had to fend them off while Sasori got into position!" Sasori wrapped threads around Deidara's throat and yanked him to the ground. "Shut up fool. You know we didn't encounter anyone at all," I chuckled and smiled down at Deidara. "Don't worry I think you did very good out there Deidara." He smiled as he sat up before getting tackled back down by Tobi. "DEIDARA-SENPAAAAAAAI!" Deidara struggled against Tobi's amazing strength while Sasori reported to Leader. Kakuzu followed after him which was curious but I brushed it off. He's not worth a second thought. Deidara began chasing after Tobi yelling about how he'd kill him as Kisame went off to his room and Hidan grumbled returning to his. Itachi merely sat at a table reading a book seeming to not mind all the noise.
A few moments later Sasori and Kakuzu emerged from the hall leading to Leader's office. I walked up to Sasori not giving a glance to Kakuzu. He seemed to catch my displeasure towards him as he grunted and walked into the living area pulling out his bingo book once more. "Hey Sasori, did you wanna teach me some more puppet control?" Sasori looked up at me nodding. "In a way, meet me outside in ten minutes exactly," I figured I knew what that meant as I nodded and went to my room to grab a few things. I paused for a moment looking down at the seal on my arm. I traced my fingers over the symbols. Should I try to trust him again? I just don't know, why is he there and what did he mean he got sealed in me for a reason? Damn it why are things this confusing. My mind began wandering to Kakuzu, his glare was in my mind. Damn him too, why is he so harsh towards me? Why do I care? Things were so much simpler when I was on my own. I had no one to care about and no one cared about me. Now the thought of loosing even one person here makes me uneasy. I'm not alone for once and I don't wanna be alone again.
My head was in a torrent as I snapped into reality, Sasori said ten minutes and its been every bit of seven. I should go meet up with him, I don't wanna keep him waiting. I grabbed a few kunai and a tanto, sheathing it behind my back. I proceeded down the hall wiping all the thoughts away, if I wanted to face Sasori I'd need a clear head. The sun met my eyes with its shimmering rays. Sasori was nowhere to be seen so I proceeded to the sparring field where I had met three other team members in battle. My current record wasn't too great: I lost to Kisame, lost to Tobi and a tie with Deidara. Its time to get serious, Sasori fought in the Third Great Ninja War and got the name Sasori of the Red Sand. His puppets are deadly and they say he uses a poison that can kill in moments.
I reached the sparring field to find Kakuzu leaned against a tree once more. What is he supposed to be? My overseeer? Fine, he wants a show he gets a show. In the center of the battle scarred field stood...someone? The man standing there was hunched low to the ground. His dark skin contrasted with his even darker hair in five separate rows ending in points sticking into the air. A black mask covered his mouth only showing his eyes, cold and ruthless. "Who are you? Where's Sasori?" The man in the field looked up to me before a dark voice rose from his form. "I'm Sasori, this is one of my puppets, Hiruko. If you want to beat me I suggest break that seal," I paused looking back down to the seal on my arm before back up to him. "How did you know I sealed him?" Sasori took a step forward. "Easy, your chakra is suppressed. Its an obvious difference and you can't beat me shutting out your chakra," I took a small step back placing a hand over my tanto. "I'll take my chances, I've watched you work your puppets and I think I have a chance."
Sasori growled across the battlefield as a large metallic tail emerged from behind his puppet form coming to a piercing sharp point. I lowered into a defensive stance waiting for him to make the first move. Hiruko was a puppet low to the ground, it probably means that its defense focused so a head on attack wouldn't be the wisest decision. The tail swayed back and forth for a moment before shooting forward towards me. It raked across the ground making a trench before rising up and striking down towards me. I dodged to the right and made a swipe at it with my tanto. The steel clashed together to little effect. Before I could analyze more the tail battered me to the side with massive force. I went skidding across the ground, halting myself near a tree.
