Ikari's p.o.v.

Tobi and I exited the hideout and began our walk to find Han. "Tobi found Mr. Han has been staying around the Hidden Hot Water Village a lot. He's a bit of an outcast so we shouldn't have to worry too much about people interfering with our work." Tobi was ahead of me by a few feet as he explained Han's location. I really didn't want to do this, I don't feel right just killing these innocent people. I get it, I was a bounty hunter but I never took bounties on people who weren't criminals in some aspect. Its not like I went down the street and killed an innocent elderly person who just happened to piss someone off for a paycheck. "Hey Tobi...do you know what we do to the Jinchuriki when we catch them?" Tobi looked back and paused allowing me to catch up to him. Once I was beside him we continued on as he scratched his mask. "No Ikari-chan, I'm not sure. I know we need all nine for Leader-sama's plan but I'm not sure why or what we do with them," I let out a sigh as I looked over to Tobi. "We kill them. Once we catch Jinchuriki we take the Tailed-beast from inside of them which kills them in the process. I just learned about that a little while ago but I'm not sure why we do it either."

Tobi didn't say anything for a minute before sounding sad about the discovery. "Oh no thats so sad! Why do we have to kill them?" I smiled, yes so he felt the same. That would help. "Exactly Tobi! Look I haven't done much work into this yet but I really think the Akatsuki could be a force of good. Maybe we could convince the other members away from this and start helping villages out in a way of trying to preserve peace. Would you be willing to help me?" Tobi turned his mask over to me once again and for a moment it felt like I saw something red emit from his eye hole. Once his face was fully towards me though, his eye hole was its normal black pit. "Sure Ikari-chan but who else would we convince?" I took a moment to recollect myself and push away what I thought I saw from my mind. "Well Hidan is a neutral party. As long as he can believe and practice the Way of Jashin he doesn't care about the morality of the jobs he's given. Kisame wants a world without lies but maybe I can show him how there's no such thing. The best you can do is surround yourself with truthful people and make the most of the world the way it is. Sasori and Deidara could both be convinced on the grounds of their art would be more accepted and admired by villages if they were to help villages instead of turning their backs on them. On top of that neither of the two seem outright malicious."

Tobi watched intently as I listed off the members. I explained how Kakuzu had already mentioned he once believed something like that could be possible in the world and he could be convinced of that again and how Itachi was an unknown variable. Konan could possibly be convinced through a lot of talking but Pein would be the biggest hurdle. Given he was the leader it would be difficult to convince him of the new path for the Akatsuki without all the other members already being of that mind to the extent they would even leave the Akatsuki to start a new organization. Zetsu seemed liked a third party as well who would do whatever was instructed, his morality was largely unknown. Tobi seemed to agree with my thoughts and even gave some possible insight into what I could say to each. "Ok Ikari-chan I think we could do that but one problem. What are we going to do about Han? If you haven't convinced anyone but me yet how will we survive going back to the hideout without Han in tow? We don't have Kisa-sama's sword that can steal chakra so we need Han," I groaned while rubbing the side of my head. That was the current hurdle we would need to figure out. Sadly though, it didn't seem like there was anyway around this.

We walked further until we reached the Land of Fire where we set up camp for the night. "What if...what if we talked to Han and told him everything. Then we get him to act like we caught him and he breaks free after we take him to the hideout?" Tobi plopped down next to the fire as he pondered my suggestion. "Ok but one problem Ikari-chan, then Han would be in the hideout with not only all eight regular Akatsuki members but also Leader-sama and Konan-sama. Unless we in turn helped him escape I don't see how that would work but if we help him then we'd have to convince the entire Akatsuki on the spot to turn away from this." Damn it, he's right. I hated to think about it but Han may just have to be a casualty. We couldn't risk trying to convince the entire Akatsuki now, I was decently confident I could convince most members but throwing Pein and Konan into the mix didn't bode well for the plan. On top of that, if parties such as Itachi, Kisame, or Kakuzu weren't convinced and complied with orders given by Pein, it would still be a very unfavorable situation for those who agreed with me. "As much as I want to spare this Han I'm afraid there isn't much way to do it. Like he said, we don't have Samehada and like you're thinking we can't chance talking to all of the Akatsuki at once. I'm sorry Ikari...Han has to be captured the right way." Fukushu was just as disheartened by the situation as I was and I knew it had to suck for him too.
