Ikari's p.o.v.
I waited until the next day to ask Deidara and Sasori if they'd help me find Jigoku. We'd need to start at the Northern boarder of the Land of Wind but its not certain he'd be anywhere near. I sighed trying to get into the headspace of someone like Jigoku. He didn't look very old so he probably wasn't a fighter during the Third War meaning he would have joined the Urami after they had been established for a little. That probably put him in his late thirties at youngest. I got dressed in my regular attire and slipped on my Akatsuki robe before going down the hall to Sasori's room and knocking. Sasori opened and eyed me up and down. "I presume you wish to go after Jigoku?" I nodded as Sasori went and put his robe on before I even asked. "Wait so you're gonna help? No problem?" Sasori nodded making me bounce for joy as I ran to Deidara's room and knocked.
The blond man opened his door and smiled out at me. "Hey Ikari, what can I do for you un?" I motioned over to Sasori behind me and held up the photo he had given me of Jigoku. "Would you help me and Sasori catch this guy?" Deidara took no time at all grabbing his cloak as well, following Sasori and I outside. Before we could go far, Zetsu emerged from the ground looking at us. "Where are you three going? Pein has not assigned any of you missions," I looked puzzled over at the plant man before thinking up a lie. "We're just going to do some recon. Deidara and Sasori said they'd help me pinpoint Han." My lie seemed to work as Zetsu argued with himself a little bit before going back into the ground. Deidara threw a large clay creation into the air as it enlarged with a puff of smoke into a large dragon. "Lets go yeah?" Deidara hopped on, helping me on as Sasori climbed on himself.
The dragon took to the sky causing me to almost fall off only to be caught by Deidara. "Careful yeah? C2 can go pretty quick. So where to un?" Sasori spoke up from the back of the dragon. "Head to the Land of Wind and go all the way to the North boarder," Deidara nodded and turned the dragon the correct direction. I marveled at the lush green forests passing below us, interrupted occasionally by a river or clearing. The clouds were low enough today that I was able to brush my hand through a couple of them, giggling like a little kid. "So Ikari, whats the story? Sasori gave me a few details, telling me we were digging for information regarding your parents but he said it wasn't his place to say more." Deidara looked worried for me as I looked up at him nodding. "Jigoku, a lady named Chameleon and two others killed my parents when I was ten. They wanted Fukushu, the one inside me that came out in our fight." I proceeded to fill Deidara in on the whole situation which he listened to before gritting his teeth. "Well let's blow the bastard sky high yeah?"
I smiled with a nod, it felt nice to have people who cared around. The dragon made its way through the sky at break neck speeds as the lush forest became desolate sand dunes. Sunagakure was visible from the distance but we kept away from the village. Deidara flew the dragon lower to the ground until we were only about thirty feet up. "Deidara, stop at the nearest town to the boarder. We can start our search there." Sasori lowered himself back onto the dragon as it swept through the sky towards our destination. Flying really took time out of traveling as we neared a village that seemed to match Sasori's request by midday. Deidara brought the dragon down to the ground before having it bury itself in the sand. "Heats not great for it but it'll be fine under the sand." Deidara turned and looked over at the village, moving his hair and revealing a little metal eye piece.
Deidara seemed to be using it to get a better look at the village ahead before turning back to us. "Small village un. Probably fifty people in total, seems like a great spot to hide yeah?" Sasori and I nodded before the three of us began off towards the village. Sasori placed his Hiruko puppet over himself before producing three large hats from a scroll and handing one to Deidara and I. "I can't be recognized here and it'd be best if neither of you are either, mostly Ikari," I nodded and put the hat on my head as Deidara did the same. The hat was nice, the wicker helped keep my head cool and its size nicely blocked the scorching sun from my skin. As we approached the town, I couldn't help but feel the need to go on high alert. Something seemed off about the town. Fukushu also picked up on what I was feeling in my head. "Do you have any idea whats off?" I responded back to him in my own mind. "No but I know something feels off...I don't detect any unnatural chakras but...something is wrong with this town."
