Chapter 6.1 (Jayson's POV)

I didn't even let her get out my name fully before I kissed her.  All I could think about as my lips connected to Indi's was "damn I've been wanting to do this forever." I honestly had been checking for her since I met her at the front desk the day I came to pick up Duce but we just never had a chance to really connect and get to know each other but the storm had brought a perfect opportunity.

Her body was so soft and smooth I couldn't help but run my hands up and down all over her as our kiss went from light and gentle to more deep. As I rubbed the back of her neck she let out a soft moan which left her mouth slightly open. I gently licked her lips with my tongue causing her to open her mouth wider, giving me an open invitation to slide my tongue into her mouth. Her scent was intoxicating almost, she always smelled like sweet flowers and vanilla and it just made me want more of her. As our tongues swirled around each other I could tell she was enjoying it as I pulled her closer making our bodies press firmer against each other. I still wanted more though, I placed my hand on her ass and rubbed it slowly while I tilted her so our kiss could go even more deep. She let out another soft moan which sent a shiver down my spine. Her voice was so soft and sweet. All I could think about was how it would sound if she was moaning my name like that which caused me to get turned on. At that point I was already ready to take her right then and there and have her saying my name over and over again in her soft sweet country voice. It was getting even more hot and heavy when suddenly she pulled away from me. "What's wrong Indi?" I asked her "I just think we should stop Jay, I don't want your mom or your son to walk in on us kissing, that would be way unprofessional." she told me. I honestly hadn't even thought about that and I knew I had just put her in an awkward position.

"You're right Indi, I'm sorry I kissed you with my mom and Duce here, but I've been wanting to do that since I first met you that day at the front desk. I mean part of the reason I signed Duce up for this program was so I could see more of you. I don't know what it is but I'm really attracted to you and I'm feeling you and I think you feel the same way. I'd really like to get to know you more and eventually be with you. ''I confessed to her. A look of confusion passed quickly through her face as she distanced herself even more from me. "Jay this is a lot, it's not like I didn't enjoy the kiss and I have enjoyed talking to you and getting to know you but I have to think about my job first I could get fired for this. I'm sorry, but I think I'm just gonna go ahead and go on to bed. Goodnight"

Before I could say anything else she walked off with the tray down the hall, I tried to call after her but she ignored me. I mean I know she was Duce's teacher and what we did was kinda wrong but a part of me didn't care about that, I already knew I liked her and wanted to get to know her more. And I mean she was so fine and had an amazing body that I couldn't help but be attracted to her. She was exactly my type and I just couldn't help myself but make a move. I went after her to catch her at the staircase so we could talk, but as I walked up to her she just kept ignoring me and continued walking up the stairs. "What the fuck" I thought. Before I could follow her I heard Duce call my name. I went to go see what he wanted.

"What's up lil man" I said as I sat down on the couch

Duce with his mouth full of food said to me muffled, "Is Ms. Quint okay?"

"Yeah she's fine Duce shes just a little tired so she decided to to go to bed early"

"Oh okay, I'm glad Ms. Quint could be here today, I really like her." he said as he climbed into my lap

"I'm glad too Duce, I like her as well." I said as I rubbed my hand through his hair. We sat cuddled together as the next movie started playing. I looked sorrowful towards the stairs to the guest bedroom, more truth in what I said to Duce then I wanted to admit. When I turned back around my Mom gave me a look like she knew what just happened but I ignored it and continued watching the movie. Eventually the movie ended and I walked my mom to her house quickly after putting Duce to bed.

"Alright mom, goodnight, love you, I'll see you tomorrow" I said as I turned to head back through the rain to my house.

"Wait Jayson," my mom said "Look I don't know what just happened between you and Miss. Indi in that kitchen but it's late let her get some sleep before you try to go talk to her.

Damn, my mom knew me to a T and knew exactly what I was finna do. "Alright Mom I will goodnight love you" I told her, giving her a hug and kiss before leaving. I was gonna take my mom's advice and just leave Indi alone for tonight she seemed she needed some space anyway. As I went to my bedroom and laid down I couldn't stop thinking about that kiss and I felt my body get excited all over again. But I also couldn't stop thinking about the look Indi gave me before she turned and walked away from me and it sent a twang through my heart cause I knew that by confessing to her like that I put her in an awkward position that would be more so stressful on her end. I would talk to her in the morning and we'd sort it out. As I drifted off to sleep the sound of Indi's voice saying my name like that replayed over in my mind lulling me to sleep. Yeah I would make it right I thought before my eyes drifted closed.
