"Woo…" Bokuto sat down, sighing. Kuroo plopped down next to him.
"It's so hot!"
"Oh shut up." Bokuto took off his shirt, panting. They had been lifting boxes and unloading pallets and he was exhausted.
"Kotarou?" Akaashi poked his head in the room. "Do you two need water? I brought some."
"Oh hi there Keiji." Bokuto got up, smiling. "That would be lovely. Thank you."
Akaashi handed him a water bottle. He walked up to Kuroo, handing him a bottle as well. Both drank their water, eyeing the younger male as he kind of stood there awkwardly.
"Hey, hey, hey sit down." Bokuto sat him down on the chair he had been sitting in. "Are you feeling okay?"
"Mhmm." Akaashi held Bokuto closer by his waist. "I dropped Oda off this morning with my Mom."
"And it was okay?"
"It was difficult." Akaashi fiddled.
Kuroo looked up. "You want me to pick him up?"
"That would be nice."
Kuroo smiled. "I'll do a quick sweep and go get him."
"Thank you."
Akaashi looked up as Bokuto started playing with his fingers. He smiled subtly. Bokuto smiled back, warm as always. "Hey, Kuroo I'll sweep. Don't worry about it."
"You sure?"
"Mhmm!"
"Cool! I'll bring Oda over to my house." Kuroo hurried out.
Bokuto laughed. He kissed Akaashi gently, leaning down. "You're so funny."
"Funny?"
Bokuto chuckled. He leaned down, picking Akaashi up. "Oh love, oh my love! You are so funny and cute! What am I gonna do with you?"
"Hopefully not drop me."
Bokuto laughed. He set Akaashi on the counter, arms wrapped around his waist. He kissed Akaashi, prompting a string of kisses and Akaashi getting comfortable. He loosely hung to Bokuto, stroking his hair. "What do you want to do Keiji?"
"A walk?"
Bokuto hummed. He put his shirt back on. "Let's go take a walk."
Akaashi got down and followed him. Bokuto locked up the shop and led Akaashi to the sidewalk. He held Akaashi's hand, walking down the sidewalk and smiling.
Despite the chatter around them and the excitement all around, Bokuto and Akaashi stayed silent, holding hands as they walked down the pathway. Bokuto smiled as Akaashi kept close, trusting fully that both were okay.
Akaashi sill fiddled and he still watched nervously but all was okay.
When they headed back to the flower shop Bokuto swung their hands, humming to himself. "Hey, Keiji?"
"Mm?"
"If I were to ask you to take care of me, how would you answer me?"
"I would likely say no. But only at this moment. That commitment will come along but I am not stable enough for that."
Bokuto smiled at him.
Akaashi glanced up at him and then back down. He loved this man.
They entered the shop again and Bokuto started to sweep. He hummed soft songs to the shop and stepped around Akaashi carefully, giving him adoring little smiles as he glanced over. Akaashi's eyes watched him, following his movements until his movements stopped in front of him.
