M A Y
I feel four taps on my shoulder and I already know how it is.
Before I can turn he lifts me up and rushes to class with me, making me laugh.
He puts me back down at the entrance of the classroom and we both knock on the door four times before entering.
He's about to sit in his seat when I hold him on the collar and drop him in mine.
"It's my day," I tell him and he shakes his head, smiling.
We decided to sit in our seats for four days and then switching for the next four, then back again. It was my turn to sit in his seat today.
The class starts and we focus on the teacher. I start to take notes as the discussion starts.
Ten minutes into the lesson, a low screeching sound is heard and I yelp as my chair is being pulled closer to Owen.
The kids around us look at me as I look down in embarrassment, like nothing happened.
When I few seconds pass, I hear him chuckle from my side and I elbow him.
"Idiot," I mutter under my breath but can't help the smile that forms on my face as he brings his arm behind me to play with my hair.
"Be my girlfriend," he suddenly whispers in my ear and I still, my hand not writing anymore.
I look at him and his eyes hold so much warmth in them.
I nod my head yes rapidly four times and he grins, interlacing his fingers in mine from over my shoulder.
He feels like home.
