"let's begin!" johnny announced. every teen looked around. royce scratched her head.

"uh, begin what exactly?" royce coughed out. making the others nod their heads.

daniel and johnny turned to eachother slowly, "begin a new era," daniel announced as royce's father shrugged.

"many of us used it be enemies, but rivalries don't need to last forever," daniel said, as he was looking towards johnny.

royce smiled softly at the two, finally.

"the all valley tournament is just a few months away, and this year, the stakes are higher than they've ever been," daniel put his hands together, "we know that cobra kai is going to use every dirty move. there's only one way to beat that-"

"by kicking their asses so hard they shit themselves," johnny interrupted.

royce snorted loudly, "look where that got us, dad".

johnny rolled his eyes while walking back and fourth. "we're going to strike."

"no, let's- just warm up with simple exercises," daniel palmed his forehead.

"line up!"

royce and miguel looked at eachother with a small smile, this could go bad or good. or both. we want good.

royce was lined up close to daniel, she patted his back as she walked passed him. which he responded with a head nod.

"just breathe and follow me," daniel instructed. royce tilted her head and looked towards one of the old members of miyagi-do.

"he always does this," the person shrugged while doing the exercise.

johnny gave daniel a weird look, turning back to his members, "fighting positions!".

royce did exactly that, "front kick ready. hi-yah"

royce kicked forward as a loud thud was heard, "here we go," she mumbled as she walked forward to see who fell.

"shit dude i'm sorry," mitch apologized. groaning was heard. royce helped nathaniel up as he thanked her.
