With a wrinkled eyebrow, I started to read the first sentence again. I even moved the pencil I am holding, guiding my eye in reading through the lines. I might get lost in the way.
If you are the type of person na madaling ayawan ang libro dahil an' daming nakasulat rito sa unang buklat pa lang, hindi mo talaga 'to babasahin. Like me!
He's also way too fast for us to sink all those details in.
Like, Sir?
I shook my head to shoo away the thoughts that formed in my head before picking up my phone that just lit up beside the book that I am reading.
"You should shut down your phone by now, Xy," she said blankly as she was still looking at the book in front of her.
"What?" iritado ngunit halos pabulong kong sabi.
Sandali niya pang itinuloy ang pagsusulat bago tuluyang huminto at dapuan muli ako ng tingin. "You've been for the same page since we got in here because of your phone."
"You should put the do not disturb mode on, at least, if you don't want to shut it down."
"True.
I arched my brows up at them. "Wha- Oh god!" I exclaimed out of frustration, stroking up my hair and hardly putting it down at the table, making a loud thud echoing the room.
"Shh!" I heard a student assistant hissed from the front desk.
My eyes rolled around as I produced a heavy sigh.
The thing is we came here because our class will begin late and we are having a long quiz on our first class and a moving exam for the second one. We're not even sure if we're also having a quiz on the third subject or not since that teacher likes to give a surprise quiz.
It is exclusively for academic purposes only.
I use all of them for my studying, though. Minsan kapag tinatamad akong magsulat ng notes ko in traditional way, I do digital notes using my iPad.
We planned to review here because we were too tired to finish reviewing last night. I only finished the first subject, which is Oral Communication but I don't really have the energy to finish reviewing General Biology. So here I am trying my best to understand the whole lesson. I even took a book from the shelf to better understand the topic but still being disturbed by some motherfuckers in RPW.
