Chapter 15: Vampire Elena

Damon's POV

Oh my God! Elena is going to be a vampire or worse, she'll kill herself instead of completing the transition. God what am I gonna do! I think as I drive her to the Salvatore Boarding house as soon as possible. I get there in about 15 minutes and Elena is still dead. I pick her up from the back seat and lay her carefully on the couch in the living room. I use vamp speed and grab a couple blood bags, manly for me, I drink a lot of blood when I get stressed. I look at my contacts on the phone scrolling through them. I contemplate calling Stefan. No, Elena is my girlfriend not his, and I want for her to see me first thing when she comes back from the dead. At dinner earlier this evening when we really got to know each other, I think I love her, well I know that I do. I need to tell her that. My thoughts instantly stop when Elena makes a huge gasp for air. "Elena." I say as calmly as possible walking over to her. "Damon." Is all she says as she looks at me. "How are you feeling?" I ask her rubbing her back. "Am I gonna turn into a.." She says nervously. "Yes, if you chose to compete the transition and Elena, this might be the completely wrong timing to tell you this Elena, but I really do hope you complete the transition because I love you Elena." I tell her from looking down at her feet to into her hazel eyes with my blue ones.

Elena's POV

Damon just told me that he loves me. Do I love him back? Of course I do! But something in my mind tells me I don't. I push that thought to the back of my head. "Damon give me a blood bag." I say reaching out my hand. "Are you sure Elena?" Damon asks me with his sky blue eyes. "Yes, now blood now." I say still holding out my hand. Damon hands me a blood bag and I rip off the top with my teeth and suck the blood bag dry. "How do you feel?" Damon asks me again throwing away the blood bag. "Amazing, alive and completely in love with you!" I say running up to him and kissing him. He doesn't respond just takes off his shirt and uses his vamp speed that takes us up to his bedroom.

THE NEXT DAY

"Come on sleepy head!" Damon says shaking me. "Ugg what! I'm tired." I say rolling over. "I need to teach you the fun of catching people." Damon says and I can feel the smirk forming across his lips. "Damon can't I just feed on blood bags." I say complaining. "No, blood from the vein is so much better." Damon says rolling me back over so I face him. "You know your right! I'll go get dressed." I say as I use my vamp speed and grab my clothes from my house and change into them super fast. I go back over to the boarding house and find Damon drinking bourbon. I couldn't help myself I run over to him and start kissing him again. 'I'd hate to ruin this wonderful moment but, we should get started on the hunt." Damon says pulling me off of him. "Ugg fine!" I say starting to pout. "Elena." Damon says sternly. "Sorry your right. I guess I'm just not use to this whole vampire thing." I say grabbing his arm. "So whats first?" I ask looking up at Damon. 'Well I say we go big, so we are gonna go to the Mystic Grille, check to see if anyone is on vervain and then compel everyone in the Grille and grab the tastest." Damon tells me looking down on me. "Ohhhh sounds fun!" I say with a smile. We go in Damon's car and drive to the Mystic Grille. Damon taught me a really cool trick to see if anyone was on vervain. Luckily this town hasn't gotten so smart so no one was on vervain. Damon taught me how to compel and its actually fun! I ran around the Grille compelling everyone in sight. Then I bump into someone tall and strong. I look up to see who it is. "Elena, what are you doing?" Stefan asks me looking down. "Oh Stefan Damon didn't tell you!" I say happily. "Tell me what?" Stefan questioned, his tone getting stressed. "Oh I'm a...vampire!" I say happily again. "Elena, your a vampire." Stefan says his voice saddened. "Stefan don't be sad! I'm not! Its super fun and Damon has been great and super helpful! He's teaching me how to hunt right now!" I say looking up at him. "Elena, you shouldn't do this. Please don't do this." Stefan says his eyes welling up with tears. "Oh yeah Stefan! Why shouldn't I! Do you think I still have a soft spot for you or something! Cause your wrong Stefan! All of my love belongs to Damon!" I say getting louder and crossing my arms. "Elena come on!" Damon says calling me over. "Not right now Damon!" I say stern because I'm getting mad that Stefan would think that I would have a soft spot for him. "ELENA GET OVER HERE!"Damon says just as stern. "Sorry, I'm done with Stefan." I say walking back over to Damon as we finish our job.

Stefan's POV

What's wrong with Elena, why is she following Damon around like a puppy. This is ridiculous. I take out my phone and call Caroline. "Hey Care, when you turned did you feel a connection to who turned you?" I ask her in a stressed tone. "Oh hey Stefan. So your question is if I felt a connection with Katherine when she turned me. Do you mean like a romantic connection?" Caroline asks in a joking tone. "Not now Care, its about Elena, I need to know did you feel like you had to serve her or obey her like a puppy dog?" I say seriously. "Oh yeah, everything she asked me to do I had to do it, something drew me to doing it."Caroline says in a serious tone. "Do you know how it stopped?" I ask. "No, it just did." She says not really helping. "Ok well you Elena and Bonnie are gonna have a girl sleep over and I think Elena, might be sired to Damon." I say as a shiver goes down my spine. " On it Stefan, but what if Elena, says no?" Caroline says. "Don't take no for an answer." I say haning up. I then call Bonnie's number, she picks up with in three rings. "Hey Stefan whats up?" Bonnie asks casually. "Have you heard of a new vampire being sired to the vampire that turned them?" I ask. "Um yeah I think I saw that in one of Emily's books." Bonnie says, her voice a more serious. "Perfect. Can you see if there's a spell to reverse it?" I ask. "Uh yeah I'll look." She says. "Good oh and You, Caroline and Elena, are having a sleep over tonight. I need you to find the spell by seven tonight, that's when you and Caroline and Elena will be starting the sleep over, the perfect time to cast a spell on her." I say feeling relaxed as my plan was piecing together nicely. "Ok no problem Stefan. And can I tell you why I'm doing this?" Bonnie asks me. "Of course. I thought you were being a little to easy to convince." I say slightly joking. "I'm doing it because I know Elena still loves you, anyone that knows her, knows that." Bonnie says bringing me to tears. I just love Elena so much and I need to do everything in my power to make her happy and maybe even one day, bring her back to me. "Remember Bonnie, seven tonight." I say trying to choke down the tears. With that I hung up and felt tears quickly roll down my face. Could it be true? Could she still love me?
