Chapter 3: The start

Chapter 3: Start

Stefan's POV

Once I realize it's Elena's diary, Im not sure what to do. I decide to go to the grille, there's a good chance she or somebody she knows will be there. I hop in my car and drive to the grille. Once I arrive I quickly slam my door and walk in. I look to see if there's anybody that Elena would know. I look to my left and see Matt. Well I guess I better try him. I walk over to where Matt was cleaning a table. "Uh hey Matt I'm Stefan do you know where Elena might be?" I ask him trying to look him in the eyes. All I get in return is an  evil eye and beining bumped in the shoulder. I begin to take out my keys when a girl approaches me. "Hi I'm Bonnie so I over heard your looking for Elena. Come sit down with me." The girl tells me. "Ok." I tell her grabbing out for a chair. "You must be Stefan the new kid, am I right?" "Uh yeah that pretty dead on." I tell her. "Good. Anyway, about Elena, I'm hesr best friend. And I'm guessing you don't know where she is. Am I right again?" Bonnie asks me starting to smile. "Wow yes you are. I found what I think is her diary, I haven;'t read it yet so don't worry but, I want to return it to her." I tell Bonnie still beinrg kinda seruosu but, warming up to her. "Well here's her number and she big on texting." Bonnie tells me while writing down Elena's number and handing it to me. "Great thanks Bonnie. One more question, do you know where Elena might be?" I ask Bonnie. "Probably at her house. I can drive you there if you want." Bonnie tells me. "Uh yeah that's be great." I tell Bonnie with a smile. "Cool let's go." Bonnie syas reaching for her keys. We leave the grille and head out to her orange bug. We hop in the car and it gets awkward really fast. "Oh and Matt is pretty jealous of you." Bonnie tells me keeping her eyes on the road. "Why is he jealous of me. It's my first day." I tell Bonnie sounding confused. "Well, him and Elena were a thing but, then her parents died. He was sure she would come back to him but, then you came and you and Elena are a really good couple so he's mad. Actually super mad." Bonnie tells me still looking at the road. "Wait he thinks Elena and I are a couple?" I asks still sounding confused. "Wait, your not!" Bonnie says actually looking at me this time. "I just met her today." I tell Bonnie. "Well I hope you guys become a couple. You guys are really cute for each other." Bonnie tells me giving me a wink. "Well this is her address and when we arrive at her house stay out of her sight because it'lle be a nice surprise for her." Bonnie tells me. "Haha ok." I tell her. "Ok here we are I'll go first ok? Stay on the side of the house." Bonnie tells me taking off her seat belt. "Yeah ok." I tell her also taking of my seat belt. Bonnie walks up to her door and I creep around the side of her house. I see Bonnie ring the doorbell. I hear Elena's steps down the stairs reaching for the front door. 'Hey Bon!" I hear Elena say. "Hey Elena." Bonnie says in responds. "What's up Bon? Anything serious?" Elena asks concerned. "Uh well I have a surprise for you." Bonnie says giving me a wink. I walk over to where Elena can see me. I see her face light up and a smile appear on her face. "Well my dad is probably wandering where I am." Bonnie says backing up. 'Hey thanks Bon!" Elena says with a smile and a wave. "Well Stefan would you like to come in?" Elena asks me. 'I would love to I tell her." She moves to the side and I walk through the door. "Here, we can go sit on the couch." Elena tells me. "Cool." I respond walking with her over to the couch. When we get comfortable on the couch we begin to talk. "So how's your brother?" I ask her. "Oh from today?" She asks. "Uh yeah." I say. "Well he hasn't really been ok since the accident." She tells me. "Well I'm sorry to hear that. I tell her while brushing the hair out of her face with my thumb. "Stefan?" Elena asks me. "Yes?" I say in responds. "Can we talk about earlier?" She asks me. I pull my thumb away from her face. "Yeah of course." I tell her. "Look I'm sorry about running away all of the sudden. That was a really dumb move." She tells me looking embarrassed.  "Elena when you ran something fell out of your bag and it was your diary. I tell her pulling out her diary. "And don't worry Elena, I didn't read a single page." I tell her while taking her hand. "Oh my God Stefan! Thank you!" She tells me looking very relived. I look her in the eyes and I think she new what was coming and Elena grabbed my face and kissed me passionately. Before I knew it I was laying down on the couch kissing Elena back. I start to put my hands on her lower back pulling her tighter to me if that was even possible. We begin to roll over so I was on top of her and then  we fell off the couch and on to the floor. "Haha OW." Elena pulls away and tells me with a smile in her face. "You ok?" I ask her stroking her forehead. "Well we stopped." Elena tells me giving me a smirk. "Stopped what?" I asked pulling her closer down to me. "Well we stopped doing this." Elena paused and kissed me again. "Ohh yeah I remember something like that." I tell her. Pulling her back to me as we started kissing again.

That morning

Elena Pov

I wake up and look to my left to see the Stefan Slavaotre lying next to me. "Good morning beatiful." Stefan tells me giving me a kiss on the forehead. "Good morning handsome." I tell him in return while kissing his cheeck. "Hey what time is it I ask pullign away. "It's 8:30. Stefan tells me pulling me back into his graps. "Stefan!" I tell him with big eyes. "What!" Stefan says pulling his head a lttle further away. "We have school!" I say with a smile. "We could ditch." Stefan tells me. "What!" I say suprised. "Elena we're sophmores! Skipping a day of school isn't gonna hurt. Just call in sick." Stefan tells me kissing me on the lips. Once he pulled from the gentle kiss I began to talk. "Well ok I'll do it." Stefan handed me my phone and I dialed the school and told them I wasn't feeling well. "And now we can spend the whole day together!" Stefan tells me pulling me on top of him and begins to kiss me on my lips then my neck. My main weakness beside him. "Are you hungry?" He asks me. "Well, yeah but five more minutes." I tell him pulling him back to me. Lets just say I got breakfast later than five minutes. "Ok well I'm going to go make breakfast for you." Stefan tells me getting up. "Ok I'm gonna take a shower." I respond to Stefan. Stefan leaves my room and I take out my diary and begin to write. 

Dear diary,

Well, It's Friday and it's ten o'clock and where am I? Not at school. I'm in my bed writing while my greatest weakness is making me breakfast. Yeah the date thing with Stefan went uh really well. He spent the night with me and it's been a good morning so far. I don't know what Stefan and I are. If were really good friends if we're gonna be a couple or what's gonna happen but, I can only hope that we become a couple.

I hop in the shower and take a really quick one because I'm starving. "Breakfast!" I hear Stefan shout. I put on a sweatshirt and sweatpants and I run so fast I almost fall on my butt down the stairs! "Stefan it smells delicious!" I tell Stefan with a big smile on my face. He pulls me close to him from my waist and kisses down my neck. He suddenly stops and quickly faces away from me. I try pulling him toward me but I can't he;s too strong. "Stefan please look at me. What's wrong?" I ask him. "Elena I--I can't." He tells me. "Why not!" I say getting frustrated. "Because I.." Right in the middle of Stefan's sentence I pull him to face me. I see grey veins running to his eyes with a red streak that flows through them. I know for a fact that veins aren't supposed to look like that. "Stefan?"
